So when I moved this November I was looking for simple solutions and a friend suggested renting moving boxes from Dymon Box. Renting boxes to move all my worldly possessions does seem an odd idea at first, but turns out it was awesome. Dymon has different packages, but the best deal is 25 boxes for two weeks with free delivery and pick up. The boxes are large plastic bins with handles and lids. They stack wonderfully and are very sturdy--I have a mini-library so they had to stand up really well. Dymon cleaned the boxes before dropping them off and provided labels that were easy to attach and remove. In addition, they provided a cart to stack the boxes on--awesome! Absolutely loved having boxes with handles and a cart just the right size--the moving process was much smoother than with regular cardboard boxes. Dymon's delivery service for drop off and pickup was also great, they were on time and super friendly. They were flexible with moving the pickup time back as well, which made my life easier. I really liked having reusable boxes and that I didn't have a stack of cardboard to get rid of at the end of the move. The only down side to the boxes for me was that, because they are rather large, I couldn't fill them with heavier items, like books, so I had to be a bit more creative with my packing to distribute the weight more evenly. Renting moving boxes is the thing to do!

When we dropped by to chat with the manager, he actually told us we didn't need to purchase the larger unit (which was quite a bit pricier) and would be able to fit all our stuff (almost our entire apartment!) into a smaller unit. He saved us a ton of money, which is awesome in an age where up-selling is the norm. Dymon gave us a free truck rental to move our stuff in - this was a HUGE money saver and convenient since it also came with a (lovely!) driver.T he front desk guys were super helpful and professional. All in all our move-in experience was totally non-stressful, which is a far cry from any other move I've ever made! They offer a ton of additional services including mail boxes, a conference room (which is awesome for feeding your moving helpers lunch!), a safe, and the option to purchase any kind of packing paraphernalia that you need (boxes, tape, etc.). As an added bonus, they also offer a service (similar to Kijiji) that will house any unused items you want to sell. You choose your asking price and they will post it, along with a photo, on their website. We went in once to make a payment and then again when we returned our keys, and the staff was once again super friendly and efficient. If you plan on storing some stuff between moves or just need a place to keep old stuff, drop by this place. Their spotless facility and awesome customer service is outstanding.

I requested to speak to someone in the moving department and I was told NO- unless I purchase the unit only then the head of the moving department will call me to answer any questions I have. I respectfully explained to the gentleman that I prefer to have all of my questions answered before I book and pay for the unit- and I was told NO.  I  told him that I don't feel comfortable paying for something without getting all the details but that didn't bother him. If as a business, you can't answer basic customers' questions to their satisfaction and are willing to lose approx. $300+revenue per month for 1 year- then I can only imagine the experience I would have in the future.  What are you hiding that you can't help answer basic move questions? Poor Customer Service- I rather pay more for a better customer experience!

False advertising: They told us it'd be two guys and a cube van, but when they showed up they were…read moreactually THREE guys and a cube van! Yahoo! So Josh and his two colleagues phoned us on our moving day to tell us they were running ahead of schedule, and if we wanted them to come a bit earlier they could. What a pleasant surprise! Our old apartment was in the kind of sketch part of Vanier, and Josh & co took good care to make sure none of our stuff got jacked while they were moving it in. And hot damn, they were efficient! They loaded all of our stuff in like half an hour tops. When we got to our new place, the guys were equally as efficient, despite the fact that we had a lot of going up and down stairs to deal with. They never nicked the walls, and damaged nothing. They were just friendly, quick, efficient, and overall delightful. Did I mention they were inexpensive? We ended up tipping the guys twice as much as we had budgeted for because we were just so happy with them. I pray we don't have to move again for a long time, but if we do, I know we'll be calling these guys again. We would highly recommend Two Guys and a Cube Van to anyone!
