She didn't even try to properly diagnose them and just ordered an X-ray. Their directions for X-rays were totally inaccurate. It wasted my time. When I called them back, the front desk person was not helpful, and it wasn't easy to get in touch with them. Finally, I got the X-ray done. I made another appointment with them. I waited over a month before I got to see the doctor again. This time was with the husband. He just looked at the X-ray quickly and recommended PHP. He didn't diagnose my knees either. Somehow, I went ahead with the PHP that day. He said it's not covered by insurance and it costs $900, which I paid right there. The PHP worked for a month or so, but it wore off quickly. And they also claimed my insurance, which I questioned with no definite answer from them. I called and emailed their admin who takes care of billing, but they were silent and cricket. It was a total waste of my time and money. Please stay away from them. Recently, I met a doctor friend who used to know this couple. He didn't recommend them. I wished I knew before and had gone to Stanford instead.

Took me about a month to schedule an appointment with them nonetheless I was not able to see Dr…read more Sharma himself but the wife. I was not even informed whom/which doctor would see me. It really is difficult to get hold of the front desk as well. The whole entire appointment itself took less than 10 minutes majorly discussing about insurance coverage for the MRI that I requested to take since his wife informed that if there is no pain in the ankle that I had due to a previous fracture injury then there's nothing much to do. She didn't even think about observing it but with her two eyes and told me not to worry since it's from previous damaged tissues around the ligaments which I can even observe that myself. Despite filling out the online pre check in form you still have to fill out multiple papers of new patient forms; really disappointed with her bedside manner nonetheless the professionalism from her. I requested to see a doctor who can listen to my concerns NOT the billing department. Cancelled the whole entire MRI and seeking for a new orthopedic doctor. Good luck.

From start to finish, with two different sessions now completed, I've had everything I've not known…read moreI needed and what I requested, far exceeding my expectations. Coming from someone who has seen chiropractors and massage therapists since age 12 (now age 44), I know a thing or two. However this was refreshingly different. I felt heard, understood, seen, and all the things you wish for in any given relationship! However I don't know about you as the reader , but for me I'd MUCH rather be MOST LISTENED TO and understood BY THE ONE who is going to help in (hopefully) making me feel better not just physically but mentally as well, by reliving the pain in my body. Amen right ? Well that's what has happened for me here. From my over explanatory phone call about my pain (I'm sorry and grateful to and for the woman who had to listen on the other end) to my over explanations to JONATHAN , who by the way is by far the best massage therapist IVE EVER HAD (and I do not ever LIE nor would I ever joke about pain management /relief). Jonathan truly listened, heard and understood me. That was blatantly clear by how he worked on my body. Done deal he's the best! But of course none of this could be possible without the man himself, Dr. Leslie Chui. The man exudes excellence, integrity and kindness. He's the type of guy whose presence calms your entire being , without even trying. His chiropractic technique and skill are above and beyond , just like his practice (Back & Body Wellness , in case you didn't pick up my hints ). Dr. Les has created something special here, not only proving that science can be medicine, but it takes the right type of people to orchestrate this type of healing. It shines through in his hand picked staff. I give Back & Body Wellness ALL of the stars, I give it a 10 out of 10. I don't think I'll find anywhere else that is so unique, full of skillful people and so dedicated to helping others. I Thank you so so much Dr. Les, I am ecstatic to have found your practice, and you

In my experience, it has always started with a discussion, followed by some sort of massage, ultra sound and even cupping (prep and loosen up). Then I go into various exercises and finally some sort of heat and/or ice. On leaving I am provided with some instructions and (occasionally) given bands, balls, putty, etc. for in home use. My experience at California Rehab and Sports Therapy was nothing like I was used to. To start with the front end staff was not very welcoming. The initial person that evaluated me, seemed to want me to answer their question a certain way, rather than listen to what my current injuries were in order to properly treat me. I wasn't being heard. I was then given over to someone for various exercises. The place is rather small and packed with patients. Afterwards I was given some instructions but no take home things (such as bands etc). On my 3 visits it seemed to only get worse, the person(s) working with me would also be working with 3-4 others at the same time (one gentleman was nice and apologized every time he returned). I was then told to do a side step (with a band on my knees) as I was trying patients and therapists would walk in front of me and get in my way. At every visit I received absolutely no personal attention in the way of massage, tens unit, heat/ cold or any real person attention to my issues or needs. I've always looked forward to PT to help in my care, at this place I dreaded it every single time. I finally reached out to the insurance to transfer me to another PT provider. My normal thing is to reach out to the facility before I review, but their website only allows you to leave your contact info. It's important to note that their reviews here are awful, so I'm not alone. It seems like a place with a ton of locations geared for mass patients and not individual care and personal help (this is evident in that it all open space with no private areas for specialized care). Good medical care is difficult to find, and it's not to much to ask for decent service and individual attention to help the patient. In my opinion, a total fail!!!

They work as a team so you can have different people help you with exercises. However, you always spend time with your assigned PT. The exercises and stretches I was assigned to do are helpin.
