The movie we saw was really good. Few people there. Couldn't tell if it was clean or not because it was really dark in the room. The only problem I had was the ticket guy. He wasn't being fair. I had to keep my water bottle out of the theatre while a woman was able to bring hers in. No one was hiding anything. She had her giant water bottle just as exposed as mine. But she got to bring it in and not me. Idk if that is fair. But I don't see it. That was the only issue I had. read more

ok so i decided to revisit this theatre once again. i was promptly assisted on purchasing ticket and purchasing snacks. that was a change since before i was ignored or not helped on either ticket ot snack purchase even when i was noticed by employee. Did not see same people as before so maybe there were changes and i quite enjoyed the prompt assistance. One thing i was confused and lost and locating auditorium 1. it is tricky and you follow the numbers and offcourse common sense you follow them as they start going lower. But once you do it ends at auditorium 2. You retrace your steps and go the other wat and again nothing lol. Then you ask someone and they point out that its by the entrance doors which is hidden and no posting or number on outside or walls to guide you of Auditorium 1 being way back near entrance doors. Please provide guidance or a lighted sign with #1 showing theatres were a bit messy when u seat yourself. between seats were trash and snacks as if no one cleaned between just around. did not check restrooms so cant speak on that. but other than that i enjoyed the movie read more

I honestly didn't want to give them a low rating but they need to do better. I came to watch John Wick 4 @ 6:50 the movie started @ 7 and I honestly waited in like for 40 minutes between waiting to get my tickets and pop corn/ drinks, I didn't even get my drinks/snacks or even watch the movie because I left. I understand being busy and short staffed but I lost the first 30 minutes of the movie just to waiting in line!!! I decided to not even ask for a refund and just went to the movies at the mall instead. And within 10 minutes of walking in I got my drinks/snacks, and tickets. read more

The movies in imperial is the WORST. The customer service there is ridiculous. It is so obvious these people hate their jobs. You can tell the management is on a power trip and have no problem yelling/chastising you in front of other guest. It's almost as if the manager gets bored and looks for reasons to yell or be mean to people. I'm sorry but your job is still customer service and at the end of the day you have to be accommodating and nice to EVERYONE that walks into your business establishment even if the customer is rude to you. As the old saying goes "kill them with kindness". I have been working in customer service for over 7 years and I have NEVER yelled nor scolded a guest at my store. Why? Because I never let it get to that. My family and I were threatened by these employees all because we wanted a refund on a movie that we ended up not wanting to watch and they said no. (It was only 3 mins into the movie, I checked) They gave us some fake reason why they didn't want to give us a refund HOWEVER when asked where that policy is written down they couldn't provide proof to back up their reason. They said if we don't leave then they would call the cops on us. MY DAD IS A COP and he was the one asking for the refund. These employees (kids) were so unprofessional. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. For now on I will be going to the mall to watch all my movies. read more

We tend to overlook this location and forget to return. Lately, we have been going to another theatre that is bigger, newer and has reclining seats. We came to this theatre today since we had a situation at the other location. We enjoy coming here because of the friendly staff, cleaned restrooms, and the A/C works great. Service sucks. Movie took over 40min to begin and just had to go talk to the attendants to ask what the problem was. The person that was closing cleaning the popcorn machine (a blond lady) she must hate her job she looked too angry and did not even look my way when I asked her a question. Quiet and very comfortable theatre. It was not packed, so we enjoyed the movie even more. I highly recommened this theatre to everyone.

The female manager commonly works the admission window and the snack bar. She is very rude and short with people. It's obvious that any complaints annoy her. In a couple of their theaters the AC/airflow is so loud it is distracting. The manager's solution was to turn off the AC which then made it hot due to the summer months being hot in Imperial. The lights in the older theaters don't shut off or go dim enough where it does not distract you. Some of the newer theaters they have are different and the lights go off. Seemed like every time I complained to the manager she got annoyed and was not understanding. This is not the first time I have noticed this. We enjoyed the theater it was clean and well staffed. In side the theater very small seating and not much of an incline so if someone pretty tall is in front may not work out well. When you are getting your treats they only had the one side open so that took some time. Overall we enjoyed the movie and would go back. read more

Is bad customer service universal in the Valley? The employees need to be better trained in providing high quality customer service. Is a greeting too much for them? Is giving your popcorn and soda while looking at you too much of a request? Don't they realize that movie goers pay their wages and that their job is what feeds and clothes them? This is a decent theater in a good location. The popcorn is fabulous....the theater is clean. The staff is not friendly at all and they have poor customer service. My family will usually choose this theater when we want to see a movie it's just a shame that the customer service is so bad but that's pretty typical for Imperial Valley read more

Older theater, but its never really crowded and is always clean. The sound quality in the theater is a lot better than some of the main theaters that I've been to in other major cities. $5 movies all day on Tuesdays. Great place to watch a new film. read more

I still occasionally go here for a movie with my kids. However, since my last review we have twice showed up for posted movie times on their website to be told there wasn't a showing at that time, suffered through a packed movie sweating without proper A/C, and showed up to a first showing of the day to a broken popcorn machine. I still like to support this mom & pop type theater and give them the benefit of the doubt, but the movie time postings need to be accurate every time because that is completely preventable. read more

I like this theatre because it's never super crowded and the prices are fair. It's a bit old but clean. We went the other night and the only thing that was bad was that their credit card system failed so they had to do cash only and my husband and I never carry cash so he had to miss part of the movie to run to the ATM. On the up side, they allowed myself and my kids to enter and watch the movie while my husband ran to get money. That was really nice of them and they gave him free popcorn to apologize. We will keep supporting this little theatre. It's nice that they are close by. read more

It was not great but it wasn't that terrible either. The first thing to keep in mind that this place is not expensive; indeed, before 5 pm any movies only costs $6. I could also get unlimited soda and huge bowl of popcorn for $12. The room where we watched the movie did not smell well and one of the seats had not been cleaned well. The employees are friendly and helpful. My wife says they have the best popcorn in the valley and when you add our senior discount to the mix, this is the best theater in the area. I would have given them 5 stars but the projectionist kept turning on the light in the projector room. That was very aggravating to say the least. read more

Limited selection of movies, saw employees TOUCH hotdogs with bare hands when putting them on the grill, got a theatre with uncomfortable chairs and seating for a newly released movie, sound was lacking too. Cheap, but you get what you pay for i guess. read more
