Terrible employee interactions lately. I'm going here way less now because of it. I would avoid this theater if you can. Especially if you have disabilities. On top of this, they have poor food quality control. If you get a hot dog, expect the bun to be stale, hard, and dry. Ask for no butter on your popcorn, expect butter because staff doesn't listen to customers. Terrible place. Too bad there aren't more modern theaters nearby or I'd never go here again after my experience. There's a theater up the road that is way more customer friendly. read more

This is a really good theater. It's never crowded, the staff is friendly and it is spotlessly clean. Lots of parking and attached to a mall, so if you want to go shopping or get non-theatre food that is a possibility. Speaking of food and snacks, they are pricey but actually really good. They make it right when you order, which is nice. read more

This theater is amazing and very relaxing. The seats are all leather black, comfortable, and they rock with your movement. I wasn't expecting amazing comfort for a mall theater. Definitely help ease my pain with the comfort of the seats and environment. This theater gets very crowded even the concessions at night. The snacks or popcorn is very affordable everything under $10. The tickets were $5 per person it's a really good deal. I purchase an aqua man 2 collectible cup for $7 with soda included. I really enjoyed my experience and the amazing service from the staff that kept a great attitude at peak hour. Overall a positive experience highly recommend a visit if your in the area. The theater located inside the mall by the food court. I recommend parking by Macys or towards the back of the mall for direct entrance to the theater. read more

The theater was filthy, the floors were sticky and gross. When they asked if I wanted butter on my popcorn, I responded with, "No, thank you." But they proceeded to just douse the entire thing in butter. So much so that the popcorn tasted like straight oil. It would have been great if the people working there were actually listening to customers instead of talking about going out that night. Like, I get it, they're young, but at the same time, take some pride in the service you offer and make sure you do a good job...regardless of where you work. read more

I don't write a ton of reviews, but I feel like I really need to write one here. I come here very often, like so often a few of the employees know exactly what I order when I go (Large Lemonade, Medium Popcorn please!) and I've never seen any of the issues mentioned here. I've probably been at this theater at least 3 times a month for the past 2 years, and never has anyone been rude, the AC has never broken (and if it is how is that their fault), the bathrooms are always clean, and the popcorn is always great. I'm probably their most frequent customer so trust me, these reviews based on 1 bad trip are so exaggerated. But anyway, I just want to say that there's a lot of nice employees, no one here seems rude or annoyed ever, but really there's 2 employees that are especially amazing. I unfortunately don't know their names but today I dropped my lemonade (which I felt soooo bad about, sorry!) and the girl with the curly hair was so nice about replacing it, she's amazing, always kind and a beacon of great customer service. And the guy with the light brown hair and braces, also amazing, probably the first guy to recognize me as a regular and honestly I hope he's either a manager or on his way up because he's always hustling and being nice wherever he goes. Great movie prices but Emplyees seem discourteous. Well maybe just the Manager tonight, I spilled my coke because they didn't put the top on correctly so oh well. Went to the counter and asked if they can refill it and the kids said "no refills" so I asked him to throw the cup away and asked him for a new one. The manager stepped in like I said something wrong and his demeanor was obviously perturbed. He charged me $5 so I handed him a $10 bill and he simply slapped a $5 bill back on the counter still with fixed gaze at me with his face showing anger or dissatisfaction. Peculiar to me but I simply walked away and said thank you but I didn't get a response from him, rather a nice young lady who actually filled my coke. Anyway, I just made the best of it while I spent time with my little guy. read more

Horrible service we went to watch Clifford the big red dog and they had the screen off during the previews (we could only hear but not see the movie) the movie was about to start and the screen was still turned off. We had to go tell them to turn on the screen it took 20 minutes to turn on. It's not my job to tell them to turn the screen on. It should have already been on. read more

They immediately said they would get me a new one and got to work cleaning up the mess. The Restrooms are far from clean and sanitary, out of order urinals (about two in mens), dirty walls, urination on the seats, floors seem to not have been cleaned for months. Graffiti in some stalls, terrible toilet paper. Seeing the restroom like this makes me believe that the employees that work here don't care about cleaning, that's just horrible. We went to see "Up in the Air" here. Senior price is only $5.50. The theater is huge--the hallways look like airport terminals! The seats were plush and leaned back. We were the only two people in the theater so we didn't have to whisper. How do they make any money? I hope the economy inmproves so they can stay in business. I ddn't go get a refill on my popcorn because I would have missed half the movie by the time I got back, it was so far. We got a refill and took it home to eat at the end. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend and his 2 sisters. For $5.50 per ticket, that is a deal! Snack stand is expensive, as is the snack stand in any movie theater is. This is a large movie theater, with many movies (well, 14) to choose from. Theater we were in was clean. It is right next to the mall, so there's plenty of parking out front! read more

Just moved to the area and wahooooooo a $5 theater!!! They have a great selection of movies and show times and it wasn't too full the night we went so we didn't have to fight crowds or wait in long lines to get a seat. The theater itself is a little out dated but that comes with price so if an update means charging the regular $12 per movie I will happily take it how it is and stick with paying $5!! The sounds was great and the screen was good so the movie experience was great! Snacks are average priced and unfortunately our popcorn tasted super old. But I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say maybe it was just a bad batch. We will be back soon :) read more

When me and my family go out to the movies I prefer this theater because it is a lot cleaner and larger than the other theaters in the Valley plus in has more seating. You can also download an application to your mobile phone named Fandango to purchase tickets and not wait in line just get your snacks and walk in they will scan your phone. The snack bar can get packed at times so me and my wife usually split up one gets tickets and the other snacks that way we can hurry in and get good seats. If you go on a movies opening night go at least 20-30 minutes ahead in order to get seating or else you will be stuck in the front with a hurt neck. read more

Was here Saturday night for a new movie. No line to get the movie tickets, however there was a huge line for the snacks. For a 7:45pm showing you would expect to have at least more than one snack bar open. Other than that, the theatre was very clean and well priced. The girls at the snack bar counter, offered drink upgrades that were the same price if we ordered combos. Most wouldn't have bothered giving you more product for the same price. They also offer military discount which is a great plus! The women's bathroom was a mess - needs to be better maintained and well kept! read more

The place is always clean, the seating is comfortable, the popcorn and drinks are fresh. The movie selection isn't as good since the new manager took over. Most is the movies are kiddie and cgi teeny bopper movies. I see one or two movies a week. But I saw very few of the Oscar nominated movies. Didn't show: Spotlight, room, bridge of spies, the Danish girl, AMY, or the big short (was shown, but only on a limited weird hour basis). However, you'll see reverent and fury road all day long at this theater. read more

This was the worst experience we have ever had here ! We arrived right on time to watch The Minions movie. I ordered our 3 tickets while my husband was ordering the popcorn and drinks. First small issue was that we were not able to get another bag to share popcorn with our daughter. It seemed to be such a hassle. Then as we walked into the room we read a sign that the AC was not working. We entered the room and felt how hot and stuffy the room was and we then decided to go back and get a refund. We spoke to the manager, Kimberly and she did not want to help us. Her face and attitude showed it all. She refunded our money for the tickets but still did not want to for the food. She said we touched it even though we did not. She preferred to give us credit to come back at another time or to give us credit for the food but no refund. I told her we will not be coming back anytime soon for this reason. Everyone seemed to be so unhelpful. We come often to this theatre and have never had an issue until today. The manager then left to the back to see what she could do and came back to then refund our money back into the card we used. She also wanted to give us gift cards to come back to the movies but with how upset and annoying the experience was we refused. It was sad to have to explain over and over to her why we were asking for the refund and to be upset about the issue in front of our daughter. This issue could have easily been resolved but took forever to fix the issue. We understand things happen and that the AC was not working but I also did not like we were told we should have read the sign as it stated it wasn't working. Yes, but we also should have been told the AC was not working in some rooms, including the one we were going into. We then left and made it in time to go see another movie at another location. (We have in the past got a refund in Yuma, AZ and in San Diego, CA for not being able to stay and this just seemed really odd how they did not want to help and refund our money. At today at the other movie theatre we were given an extra bag with no hesitations. read more

Cant believe they sell tickets to watch a movie in 3D with that much sludge on the screen. My eyes had such a hard time trying not to focus on the mess on the screen. Was very dissatisfied. The line for food took over 1/2 hour and they were out of hot dogs. However, one star for the excellent popcorn. The first 5 to 10 minutes of the movie had no sound and even after repeated attempts to get them to start it over from the beginning, they did not. The film was pixilated and occasionally a green screen would pop up. The sound from an adjacent screen was easily heard during quieter parts of our movie. Terrible experience. read more

Ultrastar is now Cinemark. Matinee price is decent. Cheaper than buying discounted tickets from Costco. Movie times are good too. Usually can find a time that works. A whole lot of parking because it's attached to the mall. Movies are current, unlike some of the other theaters in the area. Clean inside the theaters I saw movies in. Would come back. read more

All I can say is rude! The management there is rude, they feel like THEY are doing you the favor by letting you in. I've never been to such a self-center arrogant place of establishment. Back in March I saw the movie John Carter and the screen had a very bad stain. I went out of my way to see this movie and I was offered a rain check when I complained. I was told they tried to clean it the best they could. I sat down and watched it because I didn't want to go out of my way to come back and watch it. I agree, they shouldn't sell tickets when the screen has a bad stain like that. ANYONE THAT STAINS THE SCREENS AT THE THEATRE, SHOULD BE BANNED! I still come back here but I expect better from now on. So far so good since that incident. The snacks are expensive so I just take my own or not at all. Only snack i might buy is popcorn. read more

Just moved to El Centro from San Diego. I recently had a baby and went out to the movies for the first time in a long long time. We get there early and get our popcorn and soda and good seats. Popcorn was stale and expensive. The usher took our tickets and told us to go to the wrong room. We went in the room he told us to go to and sat through all the opening credits and when the movie started we found out it wasn't our movie. We go back out to the usher who apologized and then told us to go to a another wrong theater room. By this time it's 25 minutes into the movie and we missed the beginning of our movie. I ended up paying for food and a babysitter just to miss my movie and then when I asked for a refund and possibly compensation for the inconvenience I was told that I couldnt be refunded only get more movie tickets and that's it. No extra anything for money lost or time lost and the major inconvenience. I was really disappointed and really looking forward to my date with my husband. SMH twothumbs way down guys. Great spot attached to the mall with a friendly staff. A standard movie Cinemark theatre has many coupons and deals (especially on Tuesday). The lobby is a little small so it can look and get to be mighty crowded and tight. The actual theatres are large and plastic seated and clean. read more
