Dr. Schumann attempted to continue working on him despite him not being sedated. I expected the 2nd time to go much smoother considering we paid $250 for sedation. All he gave him was some IV fentanyl (as an ICU nurse I know that one single dose of IV fentanyl in the amount he gave him was not nearly enough, nor would it last long enough to help my husband for his procedure). My husband again woke up during his procedure (or was never properly sedated) and again was telling them to stop because it hurt so bad. My husband states he remembers telling Dr. Schumann it was hurting and Dr. Schumann shoving a needle into his gums. This procedure was again still not able to be finished. We paid $2k+ for an incomplete procedure.

It seems like they bill for 30 min whether it is needed or not as a standard. Also they tried to bill me for an item that I never received. When I started asking questions about the itemized charges after seeing the previous charges. the staff became very cold and avoided answering questions with a direct answer. I tried to call and selected the option for the billing department three times with no answer. I also experienced the same as others have posted of some of the staff can seem very cold and unfriendly. I would recommend that anyone who goes here should examine the bill very carefully.

I have a busy work schedule and I am trying to call at 2 in the afternoon when I had availability and I can't get anyone because they're closed already. So now knowing that I need to make sure that I have pain medicine before my surgery I'm going to do that all in advance because, otherwise, they may not be very responsive when needed at least according to the reviewer from a year ago.

Many of the dental 'spaces' are partially open to the hallway, giving a sense that passerbys may be looking at you - yet I didnt find the exam space to be inadequate in any way. Male partner Doc diagnosed quickly and filled cavities efficiently with no pain. Numbing was perfect and teeth feel much better than before. (-2 stars **) Follow-up questions over the phone were ignored and not relayed to the doctor as stated they would be. When doctor was asked about the specifics of the procedure, he defensively asked if I did not trust him, which could have been deterring to a shy-er person. I wasn't and the doc answered the rest of my questions. Employees do not seem to like their job and seemed irritated that they had to answer simple questions (what material for cavities). Overall, I recommend for the dental work, caution that the front staff can have bad days, and suggest advocating for yourself to get your questions/concerns addressed here. Now.. please know! I live downtown Cs! But I thought " why not"!! Best decision ever! I LOVE them! The staff is amazing from the front desk to the hygienist and to Dr. Sarah and I'm sure many others that I haven't come into contact with! Always on time! Here's the thing... I like going to the dentist now! They have made it so easy and takes such good care of me! I couldn't give them a higher recommendation! Teeth are important!

The dental assistant Eli was kind and explained everything she was doing. Dr Pappas was great! He explained the process and our plan is underway for his crown placement. We decided to switch to Grove City Smiles and today I had my first appointment with Dr Schairbaum. Tori, my hygienist took great care of me, she was gentle and explained everything that she was doing. Dr Schairbaum went over the process of having my silver/mercury fillings replaced and took her time looking over my scans/x-rays and she has a great personality. Everyone we encountered from the front office staff to the dentists were kind and personable and made for a great experience. Highly recommend these great dentists and the staff at Grove City Smiles.
