I received a massage gift card from my Mother just before the pandemic hit. I was finally able to put it to good use this week. I chose a 90 min sports massage to help undo the damage a week of hiking can do to a non-hiker. I struggled a bit to find parking (through the little gate, take a ticket, and look for any open spot). I called as was given instructions and was then promptly sent in to the therapist upon arrival. I was treated warmly by the person at the front desk and my massage was perfect. I chose a sports massage with firm pressure, so it was more restorative and less relaxation, by choice. I left a bit sore, as expected, but felt wonderful the very next day. I'm very grateful to have had the good fortune to receive a great and necessary massage after an adventurous week. read more

I've been coming to Moyer for ten, maybe closer to 15 at this point, years. It's phenomenal. The practitioners I usually see Scott but recently he was on vacation and I tried a few new ones and they were all phenomenal, Diana and Makayla will definitely be added to my list of favorites. I've gone from very active to disabled over the course of being an employee here and they've been able to accommodate my needs entirely for whatever they are at the time. It's not a spa environment, who in I appreciate. There isn't any robes or cucumber water or sitting around awkwardly in a pre massage room, just a great massage at a great price. If you go often like I do the membership is a really good deal that gets you a sizeable discount on the services offered. The woman at the front desk is helpful, friendly, and efficient, Dr. Moyer is present often and engaged and interested in his clients having a good experience. Receptionist gave me an alternative time and I told her I would call her back after I checked my schedule. Most relaxing, incredible experience I've had! Katie is by far the best masseuse I've found in years! And I have been receiving massages once a month for about 6 years (probably seen about 40 different masseuses). *** MASSAGE REVIEW *** I signed up for an 80 minute signature massage, so I was told my appointment slot was from 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm. I figured that was cool considering 90 minutes = 80 minute massage + 10 minutes dressing/undressing/whatever. Well, I was off. Way off. I'll briefly explain. 12:05 -- I arrive for my appointment. Early. 12:15 -- I'm told that my massage therapist is running a little behind. No problem. 12:22 -- I'm called to go the room to undress. 12:25 -- The massage starts. The massage is awesome, by the way. 1:25 -- I'm informed that my massage is over. 1:27 -- I'm out the door. Wait a minute -- WTF?!?! I paid for 80 minutes! Damn, I hate being slighted. I left there feeling pretty pissed off. Apparently I still am. Bottom Line: No time for such nonsense, no matter how nice the massage is. read more

I've been here four or five times now. I've gone to 4 different therapists now as well. I purchased either a Groupon or Living Social Deal last year for a 1 hour massage, as well as the year of wellness, where you get an hour massage for $40 for an entire year, as many massages as you want. My first 2 massages were with Sarah and I felt she did a great job. The next time I wanted a massage, I went with Donna, which was okay, but not my favorite. I felt that Erica also did a good job, but I didn't totally click with her. However, my last massage was with Kyle and I absolutely adore him. There was quite a mix-up with me scheduling a 90 minute massage with a hot stone upgrade. They do not have many therapists who can do hot stone currently and I scheduled an appointment with Sarah initially; however, she is currently pregnant and is not supposed to do hot stone massage when pregnant, therefore I was rescheduled with another therapist, which was fine. However, the day of, I was rescheduled to another therapist, which was a male. When I called and spoke with someone earlier, I'd say specifically that I did not want a male massage therapist. When I arrived for my appointment, there was not another available therapist for hot stone other than Kyle. I decided to "man up" and deal with having a male therapist and it turned out to be the best experience. I think I really needed the extra strength that Kyle had to break up a lot of stress and tension in my hips/thighs/back. He also cracked my back, which I've never had happen. It really felt great. Throughout the massage, he kept checking to see if the hot stones were too hot or if the pressure was ok. Kyle immediately put me at ease after talking with him prior to the massage and during the massage, he also had me take a lot of deep breaths and focus on breathing, which was an interesting technique. I felt like I was having a yoga coach in addition to a massage. I'm sold on Kyle and I'll be back. Although several people comment that Moyer Total Wellness is located in an office building, it's not weird or strange When you enter the suite, the lights are dimmed and there is a receptionist to greet you. You fill out a questionnaire about you are feeling that day, the areas you want to concentrate on and the amount of talking you prefer. I've noticed that the therapists always respect the talking level preference. I am also sold that you can request oil as most therapists use lotion, but Kyle uses oil (Aveda oil) to boot. He also gave me some ideas for stretching throughout the day to help ease some stress as well. read more

I went here a few months ago to get a massage that I had purchesed through living social. I got a call about an hour and a half before my appointment in the afternoon saying that the therapist I was scheduled with was supposed to have returned from a surgery recovery that day but that she hadn't and they had to reschedule my appointment. I was surprised that they waited until right before my appointment to call, it's not like I had an early morning appointment, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and was fine to reschedule. Day of the appointmnet was fine. Nothing special, but nothing terrible. An OK massage but nothing to rave about. Fast forward to just about a week or so ago. I called to get some information about their pricing for chiropractic care. The receptionist didnt understand the pricing either so we hung up with her saying she would find out and get back to me. I never heard back. So now I am seeing a different chiropractor and they have lost my busines. read more

The practitioners here are legit. I suffered from a weird unexplained muscle tightness problem for like a year and a half and was under regular care of a PT and did regular massages and saw all the best people for body realignment stuff for like 8 months straight. None of that worked to fix my problem. Within 3 visits, Dr. J who is a myofascial expert, was able to find the problem and fix it, and it stayed fixed. She's like a muscle whisperer. No joke shes a genius. Very smart, truly caring, and perseverent. My problem was not straightforward, but she spends time listening and examining and testing to try to pinpoint what's going on. Luckily in my case there was something to pinpoint. I know in a lot of situations things are too far gone to reverse bc the body has compensated in so many ways for imbalances, but I'm sure she could help somehow w far gone cases. But, if you're a young healthy person who needs some fine tuning muscle adjustment, extremity alignment for optimal performance, she's the person to go to. She's really really awesome. Let me just add that I know a little about anatomy, the nervous system, and musculoskeletal system so I promise you that I know how to assess when someone knows what they're doing w the body. Their office staff is great too. They're always super nice and pleasant on the phone, and really go the extra mile to get you an appt that works w your schedule. It means so much to me when office staff are nice, and these people make me feel like they also care what happens to me and want to do their best to help me get seen. read more

When I go to Moyer, I see Jessica their nutritionist. Jessica is knowledgeable and a great resource. She recently gave me great meal options for my new dairy free lifestyle. Got a GREAT 80 minute massage yesterday at this clinic but I have some reservations about going back because of the doc who owns and runs the joint. The staff is friendly & efficent, not to mention patient. Had a problem pulling up the Groupon on my new phone and receptionist waited patiently. Anne gave me a great massage w/ her magic hands. Doc Moyer came in as I was checking out, passed SIX INCHES from my face and never even a nod. On his third pass, I stuck out my hand and introduced myself. I purchased a 60 minute massage deal off Living Social, for myself and my friend. I almost forgot to use it! and boy I would have missed out something good. I called the day the voucher expired, and they still let us still book out an appointment that would work so that we could come in together. The receptionist was great, friendly, professional and helpful! I started off with a visit to their website, which is easy to maneuver and well put together. The actual location was a bit difficult to decide which building they were in, but once in the Northeast building and 2nd floor - their office was beautiful and professional. The wait time was perfect, just enough time to fill out our paperwork, have a cup of tea and checkout some of the products offered there. My massage with Sabra was great! Very knowledgeable, caring, professional and very personable and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, set up with decorations, soft lighting and overall very relaxing. I was tight in the shoulder the next day, which only excited me more to be going back again soon. I would recommend Moyer Total Wellness, because they reminded me that I deserve to be treated professionally, and yet treasured as a friend and that's hard to find. read more

My husband got us a couples massage here after finding them on the Denver's Best Massage A list. The place is clean and well kept, and the service was nice. There weren't any frills or froofy spa rituals to go through, which I didn't expect because they are a wellness center, not a spa. I also found that nice. Massage was great, good pressure, the therapist Ashley really listened and worked on my target areas. Upon checkout my husband purchased a wellness membership for me so I can get a discount on future services here. I have gone in for my complimentary consultations, which were all good. I have been back to see one of the Chiropractors a few times. Dr. Danelle Wesley. I really like her, I got a great vibe from her right from the start. She's very nice, and she works with soft tissue as well as doing adjustments, which is a nice change of pace. I am also looking forward to booking a facial with their Esthetican Allegra. She presented herself very professionally and knowledgeably during my consultation with her. I'm looking forward to learning more about the product line they use and getting smoother skin.
