If you didn't, there's Thai trousers to slip into. Think yoga wear. The work itself was careful, global, and deeply felt. I moved in ways I'd forgotten I could. I selected Ashi Thai, which is a blend of Thai and shiatsu, using feet as well as hands, forearms, and elbows. Cece has excellent elbows, and the training and intuition to use them well. Jantala has been my massage place of choice since I've moved to Denver. I originally sought this place out for the hurt-so-good traditional Thai massages, but I've learned that their other massages are just as great. The Swedish massages are of a more gentle nature if you ask for medium pressure, though they still walk on your back and thoroughly work the knots out. Most recently, I've been coming here for the prenatal massages that leaves this mama feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It's probably too early to tell, but I think these massages also help with staving away the swelling that tends to come with pregnancy! There is usually street parking on Fillmore. Make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow time for the foot soak that occurs before your appointment. read more

They were very kind, here, so it's tough to say this. I think my massage therapist wasn't actually trained in reflexology. I've had many foot reflexology sessions; this really wasn't one. We came here because of so many positive reviews. This was a gift, and cost someone I care about $100 on my behalf. She did three moves, on repeat, for 45 mins: 1) drawing light circles in the center of my foot 2) squeezing my toes 3) lightly stroking the sides of my calves. I should have known something was off when she asked what kind of pressure I'd like and I said, 'strong' and then she giggled. Her hands slipped and missed my feet, multiple times. She didn't check-in. At one point, I spoke up. Nothing changed. Maybe she's great in other ways; I don't think it's a stretch to question whether she was ever trained in foot reflexology. read more

Don't waste your time. The disappointment is that I went once and had a great session. But this place is WEIRD ! 1) the front door is always locked so it's hard to know if anyone is there. 2) you can only contact via text or email. And apparently the text method doesn't get checked often because I texted once when sick at 5:30am but by 1pm my masseuse never got the message. 3) today I went back again and no one was there. A second customer was also in the hallway and she tried contacting but also got no response. So they MISSED 2 appointments at the same time. I hope Debbie can find a better place to work. It was a great experience, Cece was really great in accommodating my request considering I couldn't over stretch my left arm due to limitations from previous surgery. Initially upon first sight of her I almost immediately concluded that I was in for a highly rewarding and relaxing experience. And boy was I right! Her entire aura speaks well-being, being down to earth, knowledgeable while yet maintaining the perfect balance of professionalism. As for my 90 minute therapeutic massage session I chose the Thai Combo Oil Massage (a combination of Thai and Swedish massages). To say my massage session with Cheyenne was anything but outer-worldly would be an understatement. While her level of pressure during the Thai style massage is the perfect amount of pressure (firm) for my body makeup, her level of fluidity while incorporating the Swedish style massage is absolutely exhilarating! Electrifying to say the least. Her ability to tap in and awaken multiple chakras is completely unparalleled to anything I have ever experienced before. Her level of commitment and passion for what she does, which is in my opinion the equivalence of Leonardo de Vinci bringing to life the 'Mona Lisa' to a canvas, is clearly conveyed through the amount of effort and quality of care she gives. This is a nice find in the heart of Denver. It's in an old office building but once you get in, you will enjoy warm welcome. While walk ins are fine, appointments are preferred. I signed up for a 90 minute Thai oil massage with 30 minutes of foot reflexology (add on). I started with soaking my feet in citrus water for 5 minutes while I filled out my patient form. I then was taken into a quiet room where I had a gifted massage therapist give me the deepest massage I've ever received! It repaired pain areas that I long since accepted. The foot massage was intense. Every centimeter of your foot and toes get attention. Your feet will leave with improved blood flow guaranteed. The price is a bit high but I think it's well worth it. This is my go to place when I need a good massage. You can book online which is another perk. Recommend highly! read more

I left so relaxed and so happy, this was THE best massage experience I've ever had and THE best massage my SO has had. Parking and finding the location was easy peezy. The moment I walked into Jantala's dark and comfy reception area, I knew it was going to be a nice experience. They had us fill out forms before starting, I mention this because they had us sit in comfy chairs and soaked our feet in warm water. They were able to make filling out forms relaxing??? I was in awe of their attention to every aspect of having us feel invited and comfortable. I got a hybrid Thai/Swedish massage with hot stones and my SO got a traditional Thai massage with cupping. IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD AND SO RELAXING AND IM AT A LOSS FOR WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE EXPERIENCE. My body felt so nice afterwards and I just couldn't stop smiling afterwords. They are magicians with knots. Pat was my therapist and she delivered strong pressure that helped with my still shoulders. She was also very attentive, checking to make sure I was comfortable and that I felt relaxed afterwards.
