While we enjoyed our wine, a Pino Noir from Puebla, the price points for the selections are quite high. While we dined, it appeared we were the only ones imbibing. I came in during my lunch break from work. And I'm immediately taken back at how beautiful this was certain was. The steps are a bit tricky, but finally, because I'm clumsy. I was able to sit across from the kitchen and watch staff , prepared my meal and prepared for the rest of the day. My food came out quickly and was so flavorful. I want to give this place a higher rating because I love the concept and it's so cute! But the food just doesn't allow me to give more stars. We ordered the shrimp flautas and the pork belly cemita. All of the ingredients tasted fresh. The cemita bun was so hard that it was difficult to bite in to. Maybe that's the way they're supposed to be? The flavors were good but nothing really jumped out as excellent. The shrimp flautas had some kind of sauce on them that I felt detracted from the taste of the tortilla, shrimp and herbs. Sometimes simplicity is best. If I was in town again I'd give the place another try because it's really unique and you can tell fresh ingredients and proper preparation are important to them. read more

Great food!! Semitas with a twist. We tried the pork belly and the cow tail semitas (super tender). We ordered the chicken with rice also a good option if you are not in the mood for a semita. For dessert we got pipitoria ice cream and creme brûlée, both delicious. read more

Cozy with a chill vibe and great cocktails. Arrived and walked upstairs to be welcomed warmly and seated right away. This place is Poblano food kicked up to 11. Started with the shrimp flautas, and while we were waiting, was sent a nibble of corn with chili and cheese, it was a nice touch. The flautas and cemitas had all kinds of groovy good going on with tender pork and steak. It takes guts to try to spin tried and true comfort foods, and here it works! read more

something essential - except the portobello mushroom burger and salads, which were delicious. The chopped steak burger was very tough and the risotto and chicken was. Truly off balance. The risotto was too salty and the chicken, bland. For starters, the tempura greens had little taste except for the friedness, and the corn soup was too savory. Again, it could be our palettes aren't oriented to the salty and savory flavors that infuse the dishes. Also the prices are about 2x what we've paid so far in Mexico so we didn't feel it was a value. The staff is incredibly friendly so we really hoped it would be a wonderful meal. Hopefully it was an off day. read more
