So I called him to inquire if he's been scammed before and to assure him I would pay him when he showed up, and he'd already explained to me what the $95 is for. His response was to just hang up! That tells me that he was probably just planning to take the payment via zelle and never show up or perform a bad evaluation to mark up his price. A decent established business wouldn't be pressing so hard to make the customer feel uncomfortable, or they would apologize still to come to service the call. I've never dealt with a business service provider in California City that was like this, and I do a lot of business in California City with them because of the many properties I manage out there. So if you wanna use this guy, just be weary on him. Keep pressing and explaining about the service fee when he already explained it the 1st time on his 3rd time explaining and not even on the job site. People go through financial hardship and be thirsty and just be so focused on getting the money in their hands amd completely forget about how to conduct business. I don't know how more clearly he can get. Yes the $95 is for you to show up to evaluate the problem. The lead technician on the installation was great at communication. The installation of this unit was much better than when we had the old unit installed ten years ago. The temps were 105+ degrees this week and the company couldn't get the job done. They literally told me to call another company so I called ECONO WEST. Dan came and immediately grabbed the necessary parts to be fixed and took them back to the shop right away but He was having trouble removing the fan at the shop, due to it being a 36year old part. That didn't , he took matters into his own hands and was trying to work on this part with his own equipment in his garage at his home. Dan was able to get a fan onto the new motor and installed it in a very timely manner to get the AC back up and running. I know the unit is old but when it's time to upgrade, I will be calling ECONO WEST without a doubt in my mind.
