We hired Mr Bartender for our 11/19/16 wedding at SmogShoppe. Drinks = INCREDIBLE. Before him, I did not consider myself a drinker, not even socially. Nothing but an occasional bottled cider did it for me...always too strong & a giant waste of money. Anthony COMPLETELY changed that!! I realized at my wedding that I had never tasted a properly made drink. DIVINE!! We initially had a phone call to go over his service and drink preferences, then he was available via phone or email for as many questions as we needed answers. Over the course of planning, we went through his vast menu & came up with a list of 5 drinks (4 alcohol, 1 non). Our coordinator kept them coming that night; I could not get enough!! And our guests are still talking about and drooling for them. #autumncider We were blown away by the clean taste & presentation of the cocktails and the service of his staff. This is a high-end mixology/bartending service. You will pay for it (bar rental, back bar, alcohol, glasses, straws, napkins, ice, etc. not included). But what you get is absolutely worth every penny. You are paying for excellence and expertise. His selection is sophisticated and beautiful. This experience...his products and services...have ruined me for any other cocktail in the future. Folks out there have some giant shoes to fill. What you need to know: Anthony is really straightforward. You'll get an answer for what you ask, so be sure to communicate your needs and let him know if you want true consultation. Give him a call! It's easier and you'll learn a lot! As mentioned, base price is for bartenders & mixology. Everything else is on you to secure. He has a pay-for-him-to-shop option, which we initially thought we'd go for, but we vastly underestimated the cost of alcohol & in the end went with delivery from BevMo to the site. We also had ice delivered. Bar rental was through Anthony and glasses were through a local rental co. Straws & napkins came from Amazon. Ordering through BevMo: SO SIMPLE because Anthony writes out EXACTLY what you will need - brand and quantity. He knows what he's doing and is really great at it. Really he did the same for us with everything else, too; he gives glass styles based on the drinks selected with suggested quantity. It was cake. We also secured 3 dinner servers through him. In all, we had 2 bartenders, 1 bar back, & 3 servers. They were all very professional and sweet to our guests. Very impressive. We will absolutely book him in the future. No other will do!! And if I haven't expressed enough how much we loved Mr. Bartender, let me end with this: we are now building a home bar so that we can *attempt* to experience real drinks at our leisure based on the level of education and AMAZING TASTES we had with him. this was SO fun. id never hired a bartender before and they made it super easy. they customized the menu/drinks to what i wanted and it was a big hit. I've used Mr Bartender on 3 occasions now. The first two were recording sessions for various films I worked on, and and third occasion was my wedding. Anthony definitely knows his stuff. The musicians were always blown away at the quality of drinks and service he provided, and EVERYBODY at my wedding was taken back at how good the drinks were. Good rates, and great service! He will send you a list of drinks he's created that you can choose from, but don't let that be your limitation. I had him create 2 custom cocktails for my wedding, and when he bartends my recording sessions, we create custom drinks that are themed to the subject of the movie or game. Classy folks! I had a last minute bartender emergency and needed someone July 4 with less than 24 hrs notice. I called and within minutes we had someone booked. The next, day, an incredible girl showed up, Micayla. She was on time, professional, and handled everything perfectly. With a party of about 70 people, a lot of crazy stuff goes on, but every time I checked on Micayla she was a picture of calm and cool and had everything under control. I would definitely recommend this service and definitely recommend Micayla. One side note was there was a $50 extra fee for booking in under 48 hrs which I guess is never fun to pay, but honestly, it was July 3rd and having someone actually answer the phone when I called on July 3rd, and get me sorted out in a matter of minutes for July 4th, was kind of worth it read more

He knocked it out of the park. Worked with my husband on creating just the menu we wanted, and then on the day of, he and his staffed crushed it. The drinks were perfect and a huge hit. The replies were quick and friendly and very helpful. I wanted to save a little money and they gave me a very specific shopping list along with suggestions on where I could most easily get what I wanted.
