Unfortunately the roast beef was dry despite the sauce. I enjoyed the breakfast but the roast beef was disappointing. I washed it down with my coffee and that coffee was just right. My partner ordered the Breakfast Bubble Sandwich. I was surprised to see that it included potatoes as they don't normally go with waffles. She said it didn't have much flavour and she asked for some surup to help it out. This could be a fine breakfast place with a few tweaks here and there. I still might choose it over some of the other establishments in town as I value unique menu offerings and locally owned business. I heard the server talking to another customer and saying that they were closed last week because of the lack of staff. That's a problem everywhere but it's probably even more challenging here in Lloydminster where heavy industry pays big wages that are hard to compete with. Do I recommend The Diner? Popped into Bamboo Sushi Lloyd to grab some to go goodness. I was having a few drinks next door…read more(4th Meridian) with fellow hockey parents on a bus trip before our game. I couldn't help but be lured next door to Bamboo Sushi Lloyd when I realized the 2 businesses had an adjoining door inside! I opted for a cupbap and a noodle bowl to go which were quickly devoured by my kiddo. Several of us also ordered kimchi jars to take home. Everything was delicious and I will definitely return when in Lloyd next!
