I am a 20 year veteran remodeling professional I worked for this company for one week and had to quit do to negligence and unprofessionalism. Pete was contracted to make carpentry repairs and paint two coats on entire boat dock and jet skie risers.. This job was my first project with Mr door doctor and Pete had me working with his lead man Sual. After all repairs were made by me the carpenter Saul was to paint the repairs and then put a second coat on the entire deck. I was asked by Pete to come back and help Saul finish painting.. All Saul and I painted was the new wood"repairs" And where the lake water had rubbed off paint at water level. The day were " claiming" it's fished, the sweetest homeowner of the year "bringing us cold drinks, homemade cookies" Asked Sual "lead man and in charge of the painting portion" did you paint two coats to the entire dock, like I wanted..? He replied YES.. He straight up lied to the lady and I'm pretty sure she already knew the answer to the question she raised, just wanted to confirm.. I brought it up just like stated ^ the same day Pete out of nowhere proclaims to be a Christian from left field, oh ok then.. let's see.. I told him of the dishonest bold face lie that his lead guy had just performed in my presence of eyes on facts and he simply shook his head while looking at his feet.. rest of the week it never resurfaced. My last day of work, I asked Sual, " did you ever go back and paint that deck with the final coat..? He lol'd me.. They also paint with zero prep work done, in Walden homes.. no caulking, sheetrock repairs or even sweeping cobwebs.. I brought this up personally on site with Pete and he just said paint it.. I was disgusted that these people are in business somehow and they reside in my race, so sad read more

I paid Pete Stoer $1075 to refinish our home doors. My wife gave them the check before the job was completed. His guys did a poor job and left lots of stain and varnish on the french door panes. I called him immediately and he said he would come and make it right. Now, a year later, he has never come out and is refusing to do anything about it. I contacted Pete for a quote on refinishing our front door and patio French doors. He provided a fair price so we scheduled the work for Monday. I wasn't sure if the weather forecast would permit so I texted Pete on Sunday. He immediately called me to let me know if the weather didn't permit he would call me in the morning, otherwise expect his crew. His crew arrived early and efficiently completed the job with great results. Our doors are not in the best condition so it was a bigger challenge than most, but the guys did a great job on making the doors look 100% improved. I will use them again and have them do the annual maintenance on the doors. read more

Couldn't have asked for better service. Pete and his crew are great. Refinished 2 back doors and double front doors. They look like new. Pete checked in all of the time. Price was reasonable. While the doors looked fine, the glass was left a mess and company refused to come out and clean them satisfactorily. We have been unable to remove the leftover goop. It is still there after a year. Very unsightly. read more

I have use "Pete" the Door Doctor for the past 10+ years to refinish my mahogany door. The door faces due west and get blistered each Summer in the hot Texas sun. Pete team can usually do an annual refinish and touch the same day and bring it back to the original finish. About every 4-5 years, he strips the door down to the bare wood, retains it and puts a few new coats of varnish on it. The job is always top notch and his team is very professional. My front door was looking weathered and badly needed refinishing. After doing some research, I decided to call Mr. Door Doctor to conduct my repairs. The scope of work not only included refinishing my front door, but to also reseal all exterior doors (3 total).
