At one point I was hesitant to send the boys to camp at all and he even did a home visit to reassure me and the boys about the upcoming summer. We just returned from visiting weekend. Although I have only received positive communication from my children thus far I didn't know what to expect. My children are both happy, comfortable, learning and thriving. They are very well cared for and loved by EVERYONE. As a first time mom (especially) this is so reassuring. The entire administration and staff are friendly, welcoming and loving to each individual child. I already signed up for next year and can't wait to see and hear about the rest of the summer when my kids return! My 6 year old also had the best time on visiting day and was made to feel comfortable. If he could have stayed and spent the rest of the summer I'm sure he would have! We love Camp Wildwood!

If you are looking for a barn that focuses on Dressage you will not find one better than FEC. The world class clinics of Olympian Dressage riders and trainers that they bring to Maine are incredible. Their knowledge about Dressage is second to none. The owners have high expectations because they are a cut above the barns that do group lessons or just trail ride. I couldn't imagine my wife or daughter riding anywhere else.

If you are seeking peace and quiet, I would look for other options. But the water in the lake was relatively warm (ideal for swimming compared to the frigid waters of Maine's coastline). Also, the water was very clear and clean. One interesting note is that Sebago Lake provides the water supply for the entire city of Portland, ME. The tap water there had a delicious, clean taste from the fresh water of Sebago Lake.

I bring my dogs on leash and we enjoy the trails and swimming in the water. It is nice during low tide when you can access the beach, and during high tide when you can't. The trails are extensive and range in their difficulty. There is a fair bit of elevation. They have a picnic area as well a large covered gazebo you can rent. They also have restrooms. There is an osprey nest for viewing. This is such a great spot, just be mindful of when they close the gate at night. Also, there is a per person fee to enter, and it is more for people from out of state. My only issue is that they don't offer a season pass.
