Impact sliders allow water intrusion in the walls and tracks fill up with water. Windows allow water in the tracks. Tried reaching the company by email and phone, no luck yet, stay tuned. Contractor was terrible as well, had to come multiple times. I wouldn't recommend him at all. read more

Mr. Glass manufactured multiple windows and 3 doors for a project. All three doors failed within the first 3 years. Their solution was to deactivate the 3point locking mechanism. Please do your research. read more

Terrible design. Water comes in through the bottom rails. Even worse i had a mikinbin installer aka poor workmanship. I had the Mr. Glass engineer come out and spot a bunch of issues in the install. Started the sliders were designed with this water issue on purpose! Haven't been able to get the installer back to fix everything. Next step.. legal action. I highly DO NOT recommend. read more

Terrible door quality glass and Bad Customer Service After a wait of 6 months, multiple phone calls and excuses, we finally received our door and to our surprise it came with a manufacturing defect inside the glass. Marks that look like buffing machine internally. These are permanent internal buffer marks. How does this even pass their own inspection, I have no clue. The door had poor finish, they left a gap hole and the windows that we ordered had poor trim finish. Scuff and scratches on metal among other minor things. Stay away from Mr Glass read more

I had hurricane windows and doors installed using one of Mr. Glasses extensive Miami dealers in April 2023 after waiting 16 weeks at a cost of $28,000. They told me it took this long because of covid and because the glass is manufactures in Colombia SA. Not even 3 months after the installation my very expensive Series MG-3000 IMPACT RESISTANT SWING DOORs glass cracked from the bottom corner to almost the very top of the door. Both the installation company and Mr. Glasses service representatives came to inspect the issue, and both agreed that the crack was not an impact issue. Both pointed fingers at each other and Mr. Glasses office representative told me that they do not warranty the glass itself. How can this be possible. The installer company said, they warranty the aluminum itself and issues with bad installation. Now for resolution, I have to either pay to have the door replaced or pay for the glass and installation. I don't think this is fair and don't think these windows/doors will hold up through a hurricane. You will not see anything in Mr. Glasses website about warranting their products. I believe these two companies need to cover the cost of bad workmanship and either repair or replace the door. Consumers stay away from Mr Glass. read more

Avoid avoid avoid. If I could rate it less, I would. We've renovated three houses and this is the worst installation experience we've ever had. We ordered impact windows through their "supposed" licensed 3rd party contractor. Not sure how Mr. Glass vets their third-party installers/contractors, if at all, but ours was a crook (Tai Group Impact windows- avoid them too). After a $33,000 investment, we waited nine months for installation, and the job is still not complete. After we failed our third inspection, red flags started flying. Mr. Glass promised to follow up and fix handles that fell off impact sliding doors after 2 months of use (which speaks to the quality of their product) and the sliding screens never showed, which were included in the original contract. Also speaking of the the quality of the doors, you can hear right through them as if the doors were open. How is this hurricane proof? Job unfinished; their licensed contractor has disappeared; and zero culpability and follow up by Mr Glass, the manufacturer. Horrible. read more

When you call Mr Glass for them to inspect and review the work of their installer, they refuse to respond, and they blame bad work on the contractor. This is one of the worst experiences I've had with dealing with a company. I contracted a third party to install my windows and placed my order back in may. I was aware of the delay. 10 weeks has turned into 6 months and still haven't received my order. They broke one of my windows and had to reorder the glass. The contractor has repeatedly called them to ask for eta. No update. And there are orders that have gone through after the replacement was made and some of those orders were fulfilled. This is disappointing and flat out infuriating. This company has negligent and will no longer do business with them. Try not to deal with them. read more

We cannot rate Mr. Glass and Windows at this time because they order their windows from South America causing a delay in new window installation. If there is a flaw in size of the window there is another delay ordering from South America. If a window problem is discovered the customer has to communicate with South America manufacturer who then blames the installer. Buyer beware. read more

I regret hiring this company so so much. Worst mistake ever. They took forever to install the doors and windows and when they did, it was done wrong. They had to send another team, who also did the job wrong and had to come back a second time. At the end of the day the job was left unfinished. There was no attention to detail whatsoever. Things were rushed and are not aesthetically pleasing. Honestly, I never had to deal with such an incompetent company. The owner was nice, but that doesn't compensate for the bad job. There were many problems during the whole thing and it took at least a year for them to complete the "still incomplete job". They spent about 20 minutes searching their computer system just to tell me they could not give me an estimate because it came from someone who used their software. After I told them the drawing was not from them and spoke with another person (supervisor), they gave me an estimate. That's not the way a potential customer wants to be treated. Worst experience with a company. They said 2-3 months and ended up taking almost a year until install finished. Installers were careless and I prob had 10-15 different ones come to my house over the course of 4 weeks. Some windows had manufacture defects like a small dot that I let go. Installers broke my curtain rod, exterior outlet covers, cracked bathroom tile, which I let go since they were either unnoticeable or didn't bother me to much. My house is made of cmu ground floor and wood second floor, so the first floor windows were installed ok but the second floor they cut 2" all around the window and filled it with 2" of caulking. That's a lot of caulking. When I asked why the neighbours don't have this on there new windows the owner replied saying these windows won't leak. Every-time I emailed them about an issue they ignored me and only asked for the final payment. I explained to them that the final payment doesn't get paid until they finish cause they hadn't finished the caulking at that time and the windows were missing screws. They said inspection past but I never saw anyone stop by and I could literally push the window out of the frame of the house if I wanted to. That's how bad it was. Over several weeks of different people coming to my house unprepared or only to bother my whole day for 2 hours of work. They tried putting a lien on my house and immediately emailed me after 20 mins to ignore the previous email... lol. They did tell me they would cut the stucco but didn't tell me about all the caulking they would use. They used a very cheap caulk for the interior that is complete trash. Had to walk the installers on what they needed to finish because so many different ones came to my house. They said they fired the initial installers but I don't believe this. They also tried to claim that repairing the drywall on the inside from the mess they made is not there problem and it says in the contract they don't repair STUCCO so I simply showed this to them and they tried to claim stucco is drywall. They eventually fixed the drywall no cost. For me I can oversee all of this Except the 2" of caulking which they claim is normal. When I call stucco companies I fix it they assure me this is not normal. I called another window company for there opinion and they assured me this is terrible work and I could get 3x the money I spent on them back. I'm not one to sue but I will leave this review to warn others. Otherwise the frame of the window seems strong and the glass also seems very high quality. Really just the installers that are trash. And the whole management team. At first they were nice though. Refer to the photos so u don't think I made this up cause that would be messed up. Very bad service they delivered the glass doors in 13 weeks and contract was shown in 6 weeks. After installing the doors we faced problems with locks. On August 2019 I got a proposal from a company specializing in Hurricane Window installation and replacement. I had the choice to get PGT windows or Mr. Glass windows at a slightly lower price. I made the mistake of choosing Mr. Glass windows. The order for my windows was placed in August 2019 and the windows installed in early January 2020. According to my salesman, one of the replacement windows could not be installed; a simple fixed single glass window was defective from the factory (Mr. Glass) and they would order a replacement so no final inspection could be requested at the time. The weeks passed and passed and my Salesman kept telling me that Mr. Glass kept pushing out the delivery date of the replacement window. On May 5th 2020 I finally decided to call Mr. Glass directly and both receptionists I spoke with (I couldn't get further than the receptionist) told me that they do not deal with the end user, that I would have to talk to the company doing the installation to get information about my missing window. I told them that I was the one paying for the windows and that I needed to find out why it was taking so many months to get the replacement window, which was in turn holding up my final inspection. They refused to give me any information about my order and the delays. Bottom line: if you make the mistake of choosing Mr. Glass windows, DO NOT expect to get ANY customer service from Mr. Glass. Disappointing beyond words. A window order was supposed to take 3 weeks. We are going on week number 8 and I can't get a simple response. No one seems to know what is going on in the company and no one is motivated to fix the problem. I buy an inordinate amount of windows and they don't seem to need my business enough to complete one small order. They promise every week that it will be done next week and the week passes without any communication on their end. They do not care period. The style and aesthetics of windows and doors, and the quality of materials was just simply extraordinary. I was very impressed from the first contact with representatives. Carolina-who handled everything from beginning to end was super helpful, professional and very attentive to details. One the owners, Dagoberto, went to my house and took the measurements himself and I can honestly say I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise... excellent professional and excellent human being!
