Have not been here for a while but saw they had some special boxes for $10 so figured I will give it shot again. Unfortunately they kept the same theme of SMALL PORTIONS! They cut super thin and small pieces to cover the fries. And the fries were oily and soggy too. Disappointed! I felt like I paid $10 for fries with a little bit of meat sprinkled on top! I didn't have time for lunch yesterday so was hungry when my workday was over so I stopped at Mr. Greek in Aurora for take-out for a late supper. I ordered a classic chicken souvlaki dinner with potatoes and rice.  It was good and there are leftovers for my breakfast today. read more

Came in for a quick bite the other day with some colleagues. The service was prompt and courteous, and even directed to an area where you can get complementary water. I ordered a falafel for about $7.00 and provided a number to place on the table. The falafel was quite good, especially the pita which is toasted on the grill. My colleagues had a souvlaki place with greek salad which also looked pretty fresh. Overall, for lunch a reasonable price, fresh food and you are even given a few candies in the end. Lovely food and portion size! The staff are super friendly. The place is very clean. Their rice were tasty and pluffy, potato was so good and it melts in your mouth. The chicken souvlaki and lamb souvalaki is my favourite. The grilled and fried Calamari was stellar. I came with my family and my former colleagues. This classic chicken souvlaki dinner comes with a side salad plus 2 sides , pita bread and tzatziki very filling. Definitely one of the best greek restaurant in the GTA. read more

I was driving hungrily upon when I happened on this Mr.Greek. Since I have new dietary requirements/restrictions I thought this place could fit my bill....I was right. I ordered the Greek Salad (no cheese) & the Gyro (I love Gyro). The managers ALVIN & JERAMY heard me complaining that there is no discount for NOT getting cheese. So basically I was paying for something I wasn't getting. He made a smart business decision & offered me a larger salad with added Tomato/Cucumber & a little extra salad dressing. This suited my needs just right & they were very polite about it. The staff that served the food was polite, efficient & smiling & were kind enough to offer cold water to go with my meal. Not exactly sure what is express about this place. They always seem to take a while which is why I usually don't go for lunch here. I don't mind waiting for food if it tastes spectacular. This does not taste spectacular. The plus is that it is a big enough place to host team lunches and the decor actually looks nice. I've been here a few times and usually the tables are clean. You can order ahead to help save some time. The food doesn't have the beautiful greek flavours you can find on the Danforth. It's like the Greek McDonalds. It will do in a pinch. I took my family for dinner on a nice day and the food was really good the portions were reasonable on size. They had good service and were nice to my kids. We didn't wait that long and our food came right away. Excellent! I would come here again! read more

I haven't visited in a while and I was quickly reminded why. Now don't get me wrong, the food is great and the kitchen staff are very friendly. Express doesn't actually mean fast nor do the prices reflect that this is not a full service restaurant. Place your order at the counter, where the cashier tries to awkwardly up sell you on everything (as if she's working on commission) and then your food is brought later to the table and not at record speed. Our two seater booth was uncomfortably food courtish. Food was standard Greek fare without exceptional flavouring. My pork souvlaki was tender but not memorable and the Greek Salad really skimped on the feta. If you're here for a quick lunch, don't depend on it. read more

Called - person took my order. Said someone would call me back. Said would take my payment when delivered. Delivery time was at 12pm. I tried calling 10 times on hold or hung up on. I called back at 11:45am and finally got through, gave my address. Food came late. Potatoes were dry, person forgot the credit card machine. I had to call them to take the payment. read more

Awful customer service. I placed my order through Uber eats pickup. When it was about 5 minutes from being ready I headed over. When I got there they had no idea what I was talking about, which was a complete lie because once a order is placed someone at the restaurants has to confirm it. (I know this from experience). The manager began to show me his emails and skip the dishes orders, which was completely irrelevant, as I ordered through uber eats. I showed them the order number, the digital receipt and then they finally began to make my food. The owner suggested I wait in the dinning area for my order, which was closed due to coronavirus guidelines, there was even a sign on the floor where we were standing!!! I explained to the manager/owner that the hole point of pre ordering my food was to be in and out and try to come in contact with as few people as possible. None of the staff respected this. When I finally got my order I checked the receipt they gave me, it was around $20. I knew this couldn't be right because my Uber eats receipt was around $40. So then I had to wait an additional 15 something minutes because they FORGOT HALF THE ORDER! If you guys live or are passing through the Aurora area, don't come here there's even another Greek spot a bit further down Wellington! We went in for lunch yesterday just before noon. The lady at the counter taking our order was nice but didn't smile once and seemed stressed out. The place was pretty empty when we arrived, but quite a line-up developed after we sat down. It took more than 15 minutes for us to get our food; not very 'express' if you ask me. The server came to our table twice and asked us our order number before she actually served us our food. We had a chicken Greek wrap ($6.25) and a gyro pita ($5.95) and I have to say that the food was very tasty and the place was clean. I would probably go again because it is close to where I work and the food quality is worth it. read more

I love the Mr. Greek chain and have eaten at many. This one does not live up to their normal standard. The food portions are small and the pork is fatty. I can usually overlook the inconvenience of having to order at the counter and wait to bring the food to my table. In this, it just isn't worth it. I will continue to visit Mr. Greek locations, just not this one. read more

I placed an order for delivery tonight, it seems we had a miscommunication and my order wasn't quite what I had wanted. I called them and they were very understanding and pleasant about the situation. They immediately sent me an entirely new order free of charge. The food was absolutely perfect! Best Greek Food in the whole GTA. Even though its a chain , they some how surprise me with their food.It's not like any other restaurant i ever been to. Even though it's not a full service restaurant,you shouldn't be discourage. The food is really good, I recommend the Classic Pork or Lamb. I read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I placed an order for delivery and was told it would be about 30 minutes. 1 hour and 10 mins later, still no food, I called them and they said he should be there any minute. Another 40 mins pass, still no food. I called them again and they were surprised he wasn't here yet. 2 hours later still no food. I called yet again and said if it's not here in ten minutes I'm not paying for it. Guess what!! Still no food. I called them back and said to cancel my order and tell the driver not to even bother coming to my house. At this point, with 3 starving little kids I started whipping up a quick meal. 2 1/2 hours after my initial call, guess who finally showed up! I told him to keep his food, which was probably ice cold at this point. He looked surprised at my reaction, obviously no one ever called him to ask what was taking so long or that I had cancelled my order! I will NEVER order from them again!! read more

Over the Christmas holidays I went to Mr. Greek Express in Aurora to pick up an order. I placed my order for Chicken Souvlaki with rice potatoes and greek salad. While there I watched the cook put rice into the silver container and stir the rice around with his hands? Part of his arm was in it as well as the container is deep. That was not the worst part of it, he had rings on! I was disgusted! I told the girl at the container and she didn't care. She offered me something else in place of it! I will never go back there again. Sad really because when it first came to Aurora it was good and then a change of people working and running brought it down. I have never come across this at Mr. Greek's in Newmarket and will continue to go there if I want greek food. read more

I eat here at least once a week and I love the food!!! I get the chicken greek salad every time and my family has been trying to match their great taste but we can't! Always ready when I call it in to pick it up within 5 minutes of arriving but when I order at the counter and sit and wait it takes up to 15min. I love the fact that they deliver all the way to my house (I live in stouffville), such a great quick healthy meal! Tables aren't always cleaned, but I'm only there to eat delicious food.
