I am not asking for a lot when get my haircut, and this place somehow scored lower than my already low expectations. The staff was extremely rude and made me feel uncomfortable the entire time. The lady who cut my hair didn't say a single word to me the entire hair cut and when she was finished she just said are you paying with cash or credit. As a beardsman, it is difficult to find a barbershop that not only respects a full beard, but also knows how to make the head hair pair well with the beard hair. Susan did just that on my first visit today. I walked right in, was greeted immediately, and had a pleasant conversation during my trim. Additionally, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of service. I can say, without equivocation, this was the most satisfying haircut experience I ever had. Okay I'm making this review for my boyfriend who is really annoyed with how his hair was cut. He described to the stylist what he wanted (specifically shave the sides and trim the top). he left with nothing having been done to the top of his hair and the sides shaved unevenly. there were clear lines that looked like they had no idea how to blend or taper smoothly. he didn't even have a mirror in front of him so he couldn't tell how it was gonna look till the very end. he had to go to another hair place who salvaged his hair by essentially cutting it all off. don't waste your money here. just go to a great clips or something. read more

So, I've lived in Athens, GA. for over a year now. I've been to Mr. Haircut many times. I've had my hair cut by a few of the ladies there. I've got an amazing haircut EVERY TIME! Full credit to Adair who cuts my hair 99% of the time. She dose an amazing job on my skin fade. Casey can do an incredible job too. Thumbs up to the whole staff. Basic haircuts. Been a few times and nothing special. They put more effort in running their mouths than cutting hair.

Love the people there. Not only are they friendly, but out of the 4 times that I've been there, I have never thought bad about their service. Also, the price for buzz cuts are fair. I always get a #1 on the front/top and #2 on the sides, and I pay $15 including the tip. read more

I've been coming here since my freshman year, and I am currently a junior. So I have probably come here at least 15 times, and I have tried a variety of their barbers (13 of them, but only 7 at most can be present at a time since they only have 7 seats). The barber I prefer the most is Susan Dunn who is off on Thursday typically, but I find that she does my hair the best, and we have a nice casual conversation. I also enjoy the other barber that works right next to her who has glasses and is 1 seat closer to the back. I'm sure a lot of them do a wonderful job, but I've chosen to stick by Susan. They charge $19 for a haircut which doesn't include tipping. They also do other things besides haircuts, but that also costs extra/a different amount. If you are looking for an easy place that is near the arch, not too expensive, and don't have crazy hair requests, this is the place to go in my experience. read more

Two haircuts in and they are the best I've ever gotten. Cristina has cut my hair both times I've gone and she not only listens, but suggests what would look good, and also gives styling tips. It does get incredibly busy on the weekends, so I've stopped in on the weekdays and been served almost right away.
