When I tried them on, they were too long and pooled on my shoes. I measured the pants against another pair and confirmed, yes ... they were too long. When I returned to have the tweaked, the person at the counter refused. I offered to pay. She refused and said to take my business elsewhere. I will. First time in 40 years an alterations person refused to stand behind their commission.

I called yesterday for a rush job on a wedding dress. I told him my deadline and date. The…read moregentleman I spoke to was very pleasant and told me to bring my dress in today - no appointment needed - to speak with the tailor who does the actual work. No promises, but he was very considerate and said they'd give it a try. I called this morning I my way to the shop and was spoken to harshly and treated rudely. I was told in no uncertain terms that "it wouldn't work" and a wedding so soon was a "red flag." It was unprofessional and frankly unnecessary. He seemed very pompous. There are a hundred different ways to say "no" to a client. This was one of the worst.

When I said that the dress was only $100 so I would wait to have it hemmed the owner asked how much I planned to pay and I mentioned how much she had charged me previously. She said that she would never have charged that price, tore up my item ticket, dropped it on the counter, and walked away. Very disappointed given my previous positive experience. I definitely will not be back
