And, as if you need more reason to buy a tree from here, they will deliver your tree to your house and put it up in your stand, including trimming and branches that need to be taken off, for a mere $35. For me that was quite a deal. The costs run on the pricier side and of course go up as the trees get taller, but since they are a local Colorado company I don't mind paying more to support them. However, my son didn't enjoy the cold trek through knee-deep snow, so we resumed what had been a tradition and went back to Lakewood last weekend. Much of what we liked remains in 2025: Friendly staff, wide selection of trees, free hot chocolate/donuts, the layout on a mini-golf course, and having our tree secured to the car for us. Some things have changed: 1. These trees are Taxed to the Max. We were very fortunate to find a small, but suitable tree without financing. 2. Mini-golf used to be free. Major perk. It's why my son insists on coming here. It's now $8 to include the challenges of seasonal ice. Fake trees have been anathema to me since childhood, but look like the future for our family barring a winning Powerball ticket. Everything costs more these days, I get it. Charging $8 for icy mini golf that was previously free? I think we're done here.

The lot its self is nicely laid out and trees are grouped by size. All the trees looked healthy and green. I do know (by having tried to compost old Christmas trees in my back yard) that some places will spray paint the needles green. I asked prior to purchasing my tree and was told they do not spray paint the tree. Great experience.
