I emailed in some pictures about my Monstera and she called me the same day to help! They have a stamp card which is fun and offer for you to bring in your plant to help with repotting. Best plant store for pots (in my style at least) in Denver so far! Such beautiful designs and all priced affordably. They also have a huge selection of smaller, budget friendly starter plants. You walk into the garden.. tons to look at in terms of trees, succulents, larger pots, fountains, etc. The inside is cozier but filled to the brim with full baskets of hanging plants, plus lots of unique little treasures like incense and leather plant hangers. All of the plants looked vibrant, super healthy. Many were placed in pots they sold which was cool. Lots of climbing Hoyas, sansevieria varieties, huge dracaenas, etc. Lots of lovely things to choose from. The owner or worker was incredibly nice, helpful, and engaged with everybody. Love to see it :) But like I told him, my search for pots is overrr. So many shapes and sizes, geometric to tribal to elegant.. Almost every single one of them is perfect. The best plant shop in denver!! They were SO knowledgeable and kind. They had a few cute pups running around the store which was a plus. The prices are so affordable, I bought a small (but still decently grown) golden pothos for $13, and a pot for $14. They had lots of cute pots and macrame hangers too! They have a "plant card" where you can buy 10 plants and get the 11th free which I will definitely be returning for. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and prices are fair. They also carefully source things that will grow well in our climate. Plant Garage has a good selection of plants and supplies, and the shop itself is pretty neat with an outdoor area for garden inventory. The day I was there, I remember feeling a little awkward because it was silent in the store and I was the only one in there. And the sales associate was like... not rude by any means, but also not friendly at all. One other note... the plant I purchased has been struggling, and I've been following the associate's care instructions very closely. This place is the best. It is open and sunny. There are lots of plants on the patio in the summertime where you can grab veggies for your garden, outdoor flower beds, or outdoor plants in general. If you wander inside you will find cute trinkets, home decor, and indoor plants. They have the cutest planters and super reasonable prices. The plants range from large to small. The staff is super knowledgeable and the owner is so sweet. He will answer any questions you have, repot any plants, and give you advice on what plant babies are best for you. Catty and judgemental of people with disabilities who can't lift heavy terra cotta pots and are asking for advice on how to rehydrate a plant without breaking their back. Also pretty darn overpriced, but that's fine, I would have supported their business. Then when they get called out for being ableist and judgmental they smirk and say "they're just trying to help." The dog is cute though. Here's how the conversation went though, objectively: "I'm unable to lift such a heavy plant in and out of the tub, is there any other way?" "Well, if you wanna have a plant..." How is that not judgemental? How is is helpful to dismiss someone's disability instead of helping find alternatives? Also zero conscience, consideration, or accountability as to how that might make someone feel, just a smirk as if being upset at people's ableism and lack of compassion is unreasonable. On a hunt for affordable house plants around Denver, I stumbled across Plant Garage quite by accident. A lush oasis in the middle of urban Denver. They've done a nice job with a relatively small space to cultivate indoor and outdoor plants for customers. I was searching for indoor plants that were relatively non-toxic to cats. Relatively being the key phrase because cats chew on most plants and barf (that's to be expected), but is it like "ugh, I don't feel good" barf or "oh no, I'm going to die" barf. I was going for the former... From what I could see Plant Garage had mostly the latter. And that's OK. A lot of indoor plants are not good for pets! Or just keep them out of reach and it's NBD. I ended up getting plants elsewhere but it was fun to stop by and check out this really nice shop. read more

I eyed up their colorful outdoor courtyard in passing many times before I actually stopped in and I'm so glad I finally did. Plant Garage is quaint, stylish, and makes great use of a small space to display a broad selection of indoor and outdoor plants and accessories for easy browsing. Their aesthetic is light, homey, and contemporary with lots of really beautiful and interesting decorative pots. It seems inventory changes often as I went on a Saturday and then again the following Wednesday and found so many different things that I didn't see the first time around. What clinched my five star rating was the service. I spoke with co-owners Jim and Meagan on separate occasions and both were super helpful and personable. I had a plant that I had purchased elsewhere that needed repotting and they were more than happy to help me do this, supplying soil and a new nursery pot if needed, free of charge. I so appreciated this and it really indicated to me that they just want you and your plant friends to be as happy as possible. This is a boutique plant shop so I imagine it's possible to buy for less elsewhere but I found the prices really accessible for the most part ($13 for the average 4" plant) plus you get to feel good about supporting a local business instead of a big box retailer. One bit of feedback- I wish there was a specific label on every plant. I'm sure the staff would've been happy to answer any questions but I think introverts like yours truly would like to be able to look things up on their own without bothering anyone. read more

They sold me a tradescantia nanouk that was already dying and was infested with fungus gnats. Infested my whole house and started dying within weeks. When I brought it back a month later to explain the situation and request a new plant, the salesperson was extremely helpful but asked that I give it another month and see what happens (and to try to propagate the rotten pieces if I could). She even wrote down the date that I was to give it until. I came back about two weeks after that date because I had been in a car accident and sick and explained that it had not gotten any better--actually more of the plant had died. Spoke with the same employee who was initially helpful and offered to replace the plant. She called her manager to confirm that she could do so, and then returned telling me her manager/the owner would not be doing anything for me because I had "waited too long". I'm sorry! I had surgery and was in a car accident, I guess I should have come in anyway huh? Also I had been explained that the date they provided on a sheet of paper was the date I was supposed to GIVE it until to see if it was better, NOT as they seem to believe the last day I could have raised an issue with it. I want everyone to know that they sell diseased plants and do not stand behind their sales. I'm going to tell everyone I know to avoid Plant Garbage. read more

She communicated clearly and consistently, even allowing me to text her about what I needed and when. On the day of my event she picked up my plants fresh from the nursery that day. The whole thing was so easy and wonderful, and the shop itself is so cute. The nice golden retriever I got to pet while I was there deserves 5 stars just on their own.
