My fiancé took her car into R&R to have a slow leak in her tire repaired. No big deal, right? If…read moreit's too close to the sidewall, new tire. If the puncture is too large, new tire. She was told neither was the case and the cause was an unrepairable "heat ring". Her tires were visually inspected, but never removed and this took a few minutes max. She received a printed quote for new tires and warranty, then was told her vehicle was unsafe to drive when she was hesitant about the purchase. What R&R was not counting on, was that my fiancé would go directly to another tire shop. Jenkins in BA found the leak (a small puncture from a wire) and patched/plugged the leak within 15 minutes, saving my family from an unexpected and unnecessary financial burden.
