This company installed an electronic gate for me in December 2024. A few months later, the gate…read moreopener (motor) stopped working, and I had to contact Mr. Gipson who subsequently replaced the gate opener. However, it stopped working shortly after installation. I contacted Mr. Gipson again, and he had the gate opener replaced with another one without a cover. The original gate opener had a cover. It was not until 2 weeks ago when I had to try several times to open the gate with my remote that I began having problems. However it eventually opened, and I had no further problems with the gate opening until 2 weeks later when again I could not open the gate for approximately 45 minutes. I then left the gate open in order to get my car in and out. When I called Mr. Gipson on Tuesday, June 16th, he stated he would send his son out to check it. Later that day after I did not hear from his son nor Mr. Gipson, I again called Mr. Gipson to ask if his son had come out. Mr. Gipson stated his son had come out and determined I needed another motor, and he stated his son had gone to Walmart to get one. I never saw or heard from his son. The next day I called Mr. Gipson with no response. However, I left him a message that I had not seen or heard from his son. On Friday, the 19th, I called Mr. Gipson again with no response. Each time I called, I left my name and phone number for Mr. Gipson to return my call with no response. I never saw or heard from the son or Mr. Gipson after that last phone call on June 19th, and my motor has not been changed. Each time I tried contacting Mr. Gipson, I got his voicemail and left him a message advising I had not seen his son, and my gate was still not working. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

We have a pretty wooded lot in the Garden District and several very tall trees were right where we needed the fence, including some on the neighbors side. And we had some large trees and specimen trees we did not want removed. I was nervous all day that I was going to come home to a bare yard but they nailed it. They only took out what was needed. The neighbor has his trees and they even zigged zagged the fence around our big trees. The gate from the street side looks beautiful and I can relax and let my children and dog run free. The pricing seemed a little high though for the 30 minutes they spent. Because I was a first time customer, the $69.00 service fee was waived since work was done. That was enticing when I first called but later realized this was simply offset in the work fee. The work charge came out to $156.00 plus a TFS fee of $14.75 (no idea what a TFS fee is) for a total of $170.75. Assuming drive time of 30 minutes and onsite work of 30 minutes, that hour should have billed out at $75.00 to $100.00.
