These services include rear differential and transfer case repairs as well as rustproofing. They even push rustproofing for older cars with rust (i.e. when it's too late!). - Beware: their price for new tires is much higher than their competitors. read more

I visited your location at 6000 Dufferin St. as I usually do to have an oil change a few days ago. It was mentioned in the comment section that I needed a bulb for my headlight since it was out. I never thought to ask if they install bulbs or not. A few days later I went back to the same location to do the repair. They didn't have the right bulb so I went and got it myself somewhere else. I went to Mr. Lube 3287 Monarch Dr. Orillia, to get my winter tires installed. First they tried to say that the lug nuts were no good. I inspected the one they showed me and it was fine. I warned them not to try and rip me off. A few minutes later they tried to say that the studs were loose. I asked them to show me and they said they would, but never did. Instead they said that the stud wobbled when they took the nut off, and said it would strip the threads if they reinstalled the nuts. I again warned them not to lie and try to rip me off. At this point one of the employees told the others to put my summer tires back on, as he didn't want to service me anymore. When I asked if they were refusing to service me because I wouldn't let them rip me off, they installed my winter tires without incident, using the supposedly defective parts. I put in a complaint 7 days ago asking them to call me, I'm still waiting for the call. read more

Ok, Mr. Lube stations are what they are...They offer convenient drive-in service, if you're willing to put up with inflated prices, being relentlessly up-sold unnecessary products/services, and having your car serviced by mostly high school kids. Regardless, I have come here over the years on and off, due to the previously mentioned convenience. After my last visit though, I will definitely not return. When getting my standard oil change, the woman servicing my vehicle, Paula, cracked my windshield with the force she used to slam the metallic part of the squeegee. I did not notice the crack forming until I returned home with better lighting, but there is no way she didn't notice it forming since part of her job was to "inspect" the windshield. Sure, it's very possible I had a tiny unnoticed chip that ultimately lead to the crack, but her recklessness at the least contributed to the problem - she slammed the metal against my windshield so loud, I actually jumped. I contacted the store to inform them of the issue, with no response. No surprise...will definitely NOT be back. read more

This location is a convenient addition to the Walmart near 404 and Wellington. Mr.Lube is an affordable alternative to the dealer when your car has a bit more miles on it and your Toyota dealer seems to enjoy shaking you down for a few skeckles like sensor programming fees (when the batteries are already long dead) where here I paid about 300 in July before a long road trip for a premium synthetic oil package, and transmission among other road ready services. I took the car over 3k to Miami after without any issues. The folks there seem hard working and often manage to counter and the vehicle and try to provide an honest service. While definately a no frills option, for the price paid and the proven speed and quality of service compared with the dealer option for certain services, I would strongly recommend the Mr. lube in your area. read more

We came here to get our tires switched over to winter tires. There was quite a line up so we had to wait around an hour in our cars. Once we got there, the manager i believe, the only girl working in the shop atm, was really warm and welcoming...but it went downhill from there. The mechanics tried to hard sell us on getting their rust proofing , not once but multiple times. Basically all the mechanics tried to tag team and pressure us into doing it and it ended up feeling like some under the table operation. Really skeezy. After multiple attempts they stopped and ended up looking disappointed and I could feel the tension as we were finishing up with them. As my gf drove out first and waited in the car for the mechanic to give her the receipt and review what was serviced and her charges, the mechanic literally SNATCHED the document out of her hand without a word after she was done reading. Really horrible attitude. Don't come to these guys unless you're desperate. read more

I went in to get a simple oil change and the technician performed a service that I did not ask for. Never mind that it's necessary or not, I'm super unhappy about the fact that it was done without my approval. If you're going in for just an oil change, ALWAYS refuse all their other services. If your manual doesn't say that you need them, you don't need them. It's especially worse that they're gouging money from people during this difficult time. read more

Another abysmal Mr. Lube owned and operated by the same folks as their Weldrick location. I'm starting to believe that Mr. Lube is the source of everything that is bad and evil in the world. I brought my car here for a simple oil change only because I had a coupon. They greeted me with lots of pleasantry. The guy working on my car noticed a few things needing a fix with the courtesy check, which he offered to fix for me. He also told me to change the serpentine belt, which would have set me back a $100 or so. When I refused to change it, he became very pushy and rude. Not only did he not fix any of the things he promised to fix but also didn't finish the courtesy check. He also tried to refuse my coupon, which was clearly still valid. Things got pretty heated towards the end when he tried to steal the flashlight my previous mechanic had left under the hood. read more

I came to this Mr Lube location for the Ontario Drive Clean emissions test. It's located not that far from a ServiceOntario location in Thornhill, so it was convenient to renew license plate stickers right after, though it's more convenient to renew online. This Mr Lube location is tiny. It's essentially a garage with 3 lanes, each lane fits one car. I waited about 15 minutes outside. It wasn't obvious that there were seats inside. Service was courteous. As part of any service, they lubricate door hinges, checked fluid levels, and checked tire pressure. They asked appropriate questions about maintenance, though it could have been interpreted as a request for additional service (e.g. oil change). Service took no longer than 20 minutes. This location also has free wifi. read more

Very convenient and fast. However, they do try to ask/ suggest what needs to be done to your car. For example: replacing timing belt, etc. So if you don't know too much about your vehicle you might get suckered into it. However, if you're just going in for a regular oil filter change, it's perfectly fine. Customer service was good and we didn't have to wait long. read more

I would give 0 star if possible! ! It cost a fortune to get emission test in Mr. Lube even thought it supposed to be free. Don't take risk! They won't take care your car at all. I drove my car there for emission control test, just because it is near by my home. First they charged me $100 for air filter. Then they damaged my car during test. It couldn't start any more. Finally I had to call tow truck myself and got fixed somewhere else. They made mistakes without apology?! What a horrible place!! read more

Let me add my voicer to that of others about the upselling done at this location. The other day, I sent my wife in to change her oil because it needed to be done quickly. I warned her to just get the oil change and not to accept any other service. They tried to sell her a new air filter and transmission fluid. She was clear, she just wanted an oil change. They asked the same as last time. She could nto remember what service she had and said yes. The bill came to $129. What happened? They upsold her on Premium service the previous visit and so gave her the premium service again. Their slogan should be, "Taking advantage of you - one customer at a time!? read more

excellent location, ive been taking my 2011 BMW 528i here for $150 oil changes for about 40,000km now. they never cheat you, do an amazing job, never ask you to fix sh*t thats not needed. they change the oil like requested and send you on your way. they always use the right oil. the right amount of it, and the right oil filter. i will be bringing all future cars to this location for oil changes. read more
