I'll start with the good. Placing the order over the phone was very easy. We ordered three medium pizzas and an order of garlic knots. Pick up was easy and on time. Unfortunately, the pizza was very bland. The crust/dough was edible, but had very little flavor. The sauce was extremely bland as well. There was no tomato flavor, no hint of sweetness. Even the cheese was very bland. The pepperoni and bacon , topping two of the pizzas, were OK, but the toppings were minimal. The garlic knots were completely flavorless. I honestly have not had NY Style pizza this thin in a long time and I just did 11 Long Island Pizza Reviews in December 2023! And best of all they are here in Panama City Beach! Fifth star was lost to a very very slow and cumbersome ordering process. You order yourself at the register which is fine but they must have just hired this employee which is event by her lack of skills and mistakes she was making. It was a Sunday afternoon, I called to order a pizza and the phone rang about 30 times. As I was hanging up someone answered and I ordered. Upon arrival, there were no cars in the parking lot and the place looked closed. I walked in and it was a scene out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. No staff and no sign of life. I stood at the counter for a while wondering if there was someone in the back, were they dead, was there an earlier robbery? I called out three times for anyone who could hear, but no answer. Finally, a young-looking kid peeked out from around the booth at the far side of the restaurant. He got up and was followed by another young kid. They were both wearing earpieces so they must have been ensconced in listening to music. They walked past me and went to the back office. About five minutes later they appeared along with an older gentleman who looked like he was just woken up from a long nap. He was wiping his eyes and appeared disoriented. One of the kids met me at the register to take my order. After I told him I had already ordered he seemed confused and went to the back again leaving me standing there while the other two stood at the pizza prep station looking confused. I could see my pizza sitting on top of the oven warming. The one kid did a repeat performance walking to the register, then vanishing again. I asked the other two employees what the problem was and how long it took to get a pizza that was already made and waiting. The one kid went to the back, I suppose to see what the other guy was doing. At this point, the one kid was walking back to the pizza table and that is when I decided to leave. I told them to enjoy the pizza, it was on them anyway. I had no idea what was going on that day and what these three were up to. All I could think about as I drove away was Jeff Spicoli of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, times 3! While standing there I was also disgusted by how dirty the floor was around the edge of the kitchen. There was at least a 9" wide swath of dirt and debris around the entire kitchen. It is obvious they only sweep the center area when and if they clean. With all of this time on their hands, too bad the older guy who I presume is the manager didn't put the "kids" to work cleaning rather than spacing out on music in the booths. I tried this place a few years ago and received a horribly burned pizza, but in my quest to try something different in the pizza world, I gave them another shot. It didn't work out, but at least now I know I will never be back and wouldn't give them a chance even if it was free. It just goes to show you how desperate people are for food in this tourist town. Pizza 1: We ordered ground beef with peppers. The ground beef wasn't even on the whole pizza. Whole slices with two small pieces of ground beef. Pizza 2: was slightly better but nothing to be proud of. Barely any ground beef again. The dough was thin and tasteless as was the sauce. $50 for two large pizzas. Absolutely gross... I ordered pizza and wings and ask for the wings to be crispy they were not even done in the middle. I took them back and ask the guys to please make them crispy... I watched them the second time as they were making them and they didn't time them temp them nothing just assumed they were done I guess. Got home had to throw them in the oven bc they were still not done... husband said pizza was ok but nothing special. This is a great pizza place. Their large size is worth it for family. We tried two different kinds of pizza - Buffalo chicken and Fajita Diablo. Their Buffalo chicken pizza comes with grilled chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce, cheese, red sauce and drizzled with ranch on top. It was pretty good but I liked the Fajita Diablo pizza better. The Fajita Diablo pizza comes with grilled chicken, steak, onions, peppers, jalapeños, tossed in hot sauce. It was different and very delicious. Give it a try! The guy helping us seemed to be new but another guy was training him and kept him on track. The trainer helped answer our questions about portion sizes so we didn't over-order. We kept it simple. A pepperoni pizza and a calzone for my daughter. The food was delicious and was delivered to the table quickly. The restaurant itself has a nice pizzeria atmosphere. We got there at 8pm and the staff was already putting chairs up on the tables and sweeping the floor. Place doesn't close till 10p. They only have a small and large pizza and a huge party pizza. The small was 6 slices and the pizza crust was awful. The cashier said it is a NY style pizza but I have to argue because I have been to NY many times and the bottom doesn't taste like card board and just as hard to chew. The floor was dirty and they have 3 big screen TV's with sports. The pizza just isn't for us and for $40 for a small and 2 drinks it is way overpriced. I doubt we will go back read more

And then today we go in to sit down. We order 5 slices and one of them is burnt black. To the point where I was afraid of a chipped tooth. We ask the server if we can get a new slice (after spending $50+) and he starts lecturing us! Telling us that NY style pizza is always burnt, he's gonna take the slice and eat it because it's meant to be burnt. Sure, NY style has some char and a few black spots but this slice was literally completely black. The guy tells us he made it himself and walks away laughing. The kitchen is 6 feet from our table. We hear him talking shit about us and the entire kitchen starts laughing. What a weird experience and some shitty ass employees. read more
