Let me premise with the fact that I LOVE Slice House pizza! It's one of the best in town. The staff is friendly and I really enjoy the outside seating area especially the outside lighting. Very cozy! No complaints there. The only complaint I have that brings the rating down so much is the fact that as I was waiting for my pizza, enjoying a beer at the inside counter with my husband, I had the very unpleasant experience of seeing a giant cockroach scuttling along the backside counter of the bar where the wine glasses are stowed head side down. It is such a big deal to me that a food establishment stays clean enough to prevent such situations from happening. I really hope they do something about this issue! This pizza place reminds me of many pizza places set off near the coast of my home state California. Slice House does it better. I can't remember the names of pizza at these California coast pizza joints, but this place I will walk away remembering. Scape Goat and Surf & Turf. Slice House does pizzas by the slice but has went the extra mile by delivering unique combinations and toppings that'll have you wanting to explore other slices. The only con I'll have which isn't really a con for me was the temp inside. It was warm, the 2 acs were challenged by the wether and I'm sure the pizza ovens which had pizza slices delivered HOT. My boyfriend and I decided to eat here after leaving in the middle of a concert because we haven't ate here in awhile. The person that took our order was super sweet. I had gotten the molten hot pizza while my boyfriend had gotten the fire and smoke pizza. The molten hot pizza should have crab cakes in it after poking around and taking a bite I realized that there wasn't any. So I had told the same girl hey there's no crab cakes in it and she had apologized for it and said they'll remake it. Normally I don't take food back but I did pay $11 for it. The person who made the pizza came out and said with a slight attitude "there should be 3 crab cakes about this size in the middle and on top." I showed her the slice and said there's none. And she walked off with an attitude again. So my boyfriend dug the pizza out until you can see the crust to show them. First picture of it dug out without any second is the new one. read more

I just moved down here to Panama City and everyone has been telling me to go here and I finally made it down here. I was not disappointed this place is so good. Honestly great pizza by the pie or slice. They have MANY choices of blended ingredients they put together on the menu, but feel free to concoct your own. The crust is hand spun and baked to a golden crisp. The caprese is fresh and so good. Be sure to get the garlic bread. It's made with brioch which makes it light and crispy. Just delicious. We live in PCB and always enjoy checking out local places like this. Our HS son told us about the Slice House, so we thought we have a little date night. 1st things 1st: The pizza was really good! Thin and crispy on the bottom, and perfectly proportioned toppings. Delicious! 2. Their menu is HUGE! I guess we're going to have to just keep coming back to try them all. C. It is an awkward ordering situation. The bar/order station is very small. But, their outdoor eating area is pretty spacious. We enjoyed the bar seating that faces the other restaurants and the bay. D. It took about 30-40 mins after we ordered. But, they are making the pizza fresh to order, it appears, and it was pretty busy. So, that's not really that long. The mozzarella was mild and abundant. The crush was very good and flavorful. My younger kids, who are some of the pictures eaters I know, all loved it. They are in a very small space, so when we arrived right after three other people, I was understanding when it took a little while to get our order. Good pizza, terrible customer service. Practically had to beg for woman at register to take our order. A young man working there was very nice, but she's rude. Sat outside and when she brought our order I asked if I could have silverware and she said, "sure, if you go in and get it". I didn't mind getting it myself, but it was the very rude attitude.
