We thought that buying furniture "long distance" would be difficult and cumbersome. But Ronne made it so easy. We sent pictures of the house along with dimensions and spoke about what we were looking for in terms of specific pieces and our taste. We wanted "country comfortable" combined with a bit of modern and some fun funky pieces, as well. Ronne sent me pictures of her suggestions - which were wonderful. We were thrilled with the outcome - our house is filled with gorgeous furniture and the different "genres" all blend beautifully - from the huge, "squishy" chair in the family room to the industrial electric fireplace made of metal, concrete, and wood in the dining room - it's a showpiece. We ordered 3 bedroom sets as well and a kitchen set - every single piece is just perfect. Ronne picked out some funky end tables and cocktail tables for us and we are so happy with her choices. And, very affordable - such a great value for the quality. Delivery was also made easy, despite the distance - and the 2 guys who came to deliver were professional, friendly, and very helpful - we weren't sure where to put some pieces and they gave us some helpful suggestions and even moved some (very heavy) pieces several times so that we could see what they looked like in different areas - they even helped us set up the cable and internet (You can't ask for more than that). He asked what I was looking for in a mattress, and the very first mattress he showed me was EXACTLY what I was looking for. He was a really nice guy and gave us a great deal, and they also offered free shipping and they take away your old mattress. The price was great for a nice Sealy mattress. The store was also really nicely laid out and the LIGHTING! Most big box stores have awful fluorescent lighting that makes you feel like you're under an interrogation spotlight. 2 Mattress Men had a wonderfully lit store, almost like bedroom mood lighting. The new "one sided mattresses" are built stronger and will last. So a year later my bed starts to sag. I call and I ask about the warranty. Would you believe that the sales associate blamed me for not rotating the bed enough. Blaming the customer??? He told me that, "I was not using common sense." How rude is that? He tried comparing it to using common sense when you rotate tires on a car. Very, very, rude! It's common sense that their warranty's are a scam. Blaming the customer for "not rotating enough" is a trick to get the customer to keep the poor quality mattress longer so there warranty (that they don't honor anyway) will expire. Yeah it's the customers fault. It was my fault for letting someone lie to me about the quality of there mattress. It was my fault for buying there mattress, it's my fault for believing that they will honor there warranty and it's my fault for bothering the poor sales associate because I'm unhappy with the product. Yes my fault. Well, I leaned my lesson. I will not be coming back to this store again and I will not buy another Sealy. I will pass the word on to all my friends and family too.

I love to patronize local, so much that I'll put off shopping cheaper at Amazon to give my monies to my community! Sometimes, Trish will pay attention when I've gone in, but most times NOT. Yesterday, was AWFUL!! Been longing to head back and stack up on my running shoes, after nine months away from home. No acknowledgment at the entrance, "Hi, we'll be right with you!" I wasn't surprised.. still planned up the purchase! True, she was attending to another customer. But as someone who's worked in customer svc, a "Hi" means, I've seen you, and appreciate you! Then, when I saw a window of opp to ask her, I said, hey, I plan to get some shoes...but first, I need to take pics of my bf and his friend abroad so they can get a sense of what to order from. We've done this before --with the guy who helps [read works for] her out on some days. We've FaceTimed, so my BF can make an informed selection of his 4/5 pairs of shoes and pay for them online ---in real-time. Plus, I have before bought 3 pairs at once. It's the whole time of being ignored, walking around feeling invisible, when I came in so excited to spend .. not today...as I always do...but once we've all decided on our over 10+ pairs of running shoes in total + running accessories. Except now, I'm going to make a whole trip to The City, pay extra for transport, than spend my money where the owner could care less to offer a pleasant store visitation or shopping experience.
