My first experience was to have a 60-year old pine tree removed and base plus roots completely stumped. They gave me the best quote of the 4 I sought and when the day came they had all the right equipment and personnel. In what seemed no time, those men had my tree down and all the evidence of its existence in a truck being hauled somewhere. I' once used them to clean up many substantial downed branches and things after a mini-tornado. Not only was the service impeccable, but what I really appreciated was their quote. Other contractors were gouging but they gave me a fair price that was better than everybody else's Another job they did, also the biggest job they did for me included taking out a massive 60-year old Oak, and various bushes and trees that ran along 3 sides of my yard. This large job took the entire day but they cleared every bush, stumped every root well into the evening until the job was done. (before and after pics attached) Through all of this, the business owners have been incredibly easy to deal with. I just called and stated what I needed done and they either came out for a quote or gave me one over them phone. I've also recommended them to two family members that went on to hire them and both were immensely pleased. They took down our tree, raked all the loose leaves, then used a leaf blower to clear the sidewalk and my driveway. They were done within the hour. They did a tremendous job. Amazing response after August's derecho in New Lenox. Our prize 45+ year old massive linden tree…read morewas twisted by the wind and the trunk was split in half. At risk of falling on the house in the next storm, and unable to be climbed due to the precarious nature of the damage, Homer Tree showed up with 4 trucks and a master crew who used a crane and bucket truck to safely saw through the trunk and lift the entire canopy out in two enormous sections, which went right into the chipper. They cut out the rest of the trunk, ground down the stump and the last guy on site used a rake to pick up every last stick and leaf. 45 minutes of extraordinary professionalism. These guys know their stuff. We were extremely sad to lose our amazing, beloved tree but glad we didn't have to worry about or home or property being damaged by inexpert removal.
