JD and his team have been cutting our lawn and trimming all Summer to replace a service. We asked them what to do about our front plants much overgrown with scrubs. They cleared the area and replaced scrubs with bushes. They check in on them weekly during mowings. They offer a 7-phase grass treatment to ensure a healthy grub-free lawn. Always happy to offer solutions to problem areas. Very happy with their service and recommended to neighbors. read more

Terrible. Lawn maintenance was supposed to start April 1. Through April 28th no service provided, said rain caused delay on our "scheduled day". Apparently could not adjust their schedule to provide any timely service. Then wanted to be paid for the month without providing any service. Terminated them before month end. Absolutely unbelievable. read more

Poor service lately, cut only the "open areas" of the yard and completely missed weed wacking the fence line around the shed area or fire pit. Completely missed the front yard west side of the lawn. For the price i would have expected them to do a complete job on a well maintained yard now i have to go out and finish what they should have done from the beginning. read more

I have two little kids and was unable to shovel my driveway so I called JD Lawn Care Services last week to plow and salt my driveway. The owner called me back and explained how busy they were as a result of the significant amount of snow we had gotten. But he was able to squeeze me in the next day with Vince (one of his main employees). I am not a regular customer but JD made the accommodation and fit me into their busy schedule. Vince did a fantastic job on my driveway and I would highly recommend these guys the next time you find yourself in a similar position. read more

have used several different lawn care companies in the past several years and, they have all disappointed me in one way or another. Either they were unprofessional, late, didn't have any idea what they were doing, or didn't show up at all. Vince and Manny worked at our house and performed several different services. They mowed the lawn, did fertilizing, aeration, detaching, seeding, mulching, and cutting out of beds. Each time they were here they offered helpful suggestions and had some of the finest work ethic I've ever seen. These guys worked their butts off for 8 hours straight and never stopped. It takes a lot to impress me but I'm there. I have no hesitation whatsoever in vouching for and recommending this company. read more

This was an all around terrible experience. We were trying to sell our home and get the property in showing state. We contracted them for lawn service and also for mulch to be put down. As the showing date moved closer, this company kept putting off the mulching for one reason or another. Finally with two days before the first showing, they finally just appeared with zero communication despite our best efforts to get a specific date. The problem with this was we had just had our driveway redone. I spoke with the owner and told him he needed to stay off the driveway so they wouldn't track tar all over the pavers. He seemed quite put out by this as it would necessitate more work but agreed. Sadly, he didn't follow my directions and the paver bricks were tracked with driveway coating. On top of that he and his helper ruined the back yard grass with his wheeled machine which dug huge tracks into the lawn. When confronted with this he became hostile and said he could just leave if I didn't like it. Since I was in a bind there wasn't much I could do. Then to make matters worse he demanded payment right there and then at full price, of course. Then some days later we received threatening texts and voice mails from the owner stating our account was being put in hold due to non payment for lawn care. This was interesting since we had already sent them their check and the bill was NOT passed the due date. When confronted with this information he merely shrugged it off and stated it was an office error. I would NOT recommend this service as our experience was certainly devoid of any professionalism or customer service. read more

I have NEVER written a review on YELP before, but after the way I've was treated by J.D. Lawn Care concerning a late fee, and the ridiculous pricing on these so-called "lawn treatments" I felt the need to warn the public. As a two-year customer with a good track record, I was charged a late fee on an invoice that was two weeks old. In addition, I was charged over $600 for the year for lawn treatments that were ineffective, at best. read more
