Donna, the lady running the store that day, pulled dress after dress, helping me don, button, zip and snap. She made careful suggestions and seemed as disappointed as I was each time the dress was too large, too small or didn't suit. As I was about to give up, she brought one more dress to the fitting room, apologizing because it was blue. It fit me like it was made for me, was a style I loved and everyone at the wedding complimented me on it. My daughter was totally on board with both of us being in blue, too. We were in Vermont for the July 4th holiday weekend and were glad to find a new and resonablly priced antique store in the Kingdom. Located in a former Ben Franklin, with the old oiled hardwood floors, this store has over 60 consignment booths that are all cool and interesting. From housewares to furniture, milk stools, maple sap taps, artwork, antique kitchen stoves, and collectibles decorate the modestly well kept store. My finds: A large square aluminum skillet and a cast iron fry pan both for my camper. Open year round, closed Wednesdays and Sundays. 10:00- 5:00 daily.
