So glad I got to try this place when we were in Montréal. We just finished eating dinner and we decided to walk around and find a dessert place and we found this place. Although, when we walked in, it was closed and a sign was posted saying they'll be back in 5 minutes. So we decided to take pictures around the area and went in again later on. From what I remember the menu was in French, but the staff spoke English and very friendly service. I forgot what I ordered but I just know that I'll definitely be back and try other flavours!

Stumbled upon this spot while walking through the city. What caught my eye were the puffballs and I have to say I'm happy I stopped to try. The puffballs are pretty much fried dough balls. You can order these separate but I would probably recommend getting the puffs with the side of soft serve ice cream. The combination was to die for! I had the dulce de leche which didn't taste exactly like it, I believe it was because of the chocolate dipping on the ice cream taking over the flavor, but I didn't care! The combo of the warm puffs with the chocolate dipping and vanilla ice cream was so so good! Will definitely come back for more!

Holy Moly, if you have never tried Mr. Puff than you have to try them. They are super amazing and super delicious. It is hard to describe. They are not like the Tim Horton's donut and they are not like any donuts balls even though they look like them. Ok so B and I came and ordered the Bueno with ice cream. the ice cream was nice, soft and creamy. It was perfect for a hot day. The puffs were the amazing part. It was soft inside and crunchy on the outside. The bueno drizzles gave it that nice sweet taste. B and I have no idea what is bueno but all we know is that it is super delicious. This location is located in Old Montreal in the tourists area. Mr. Puff is a must try if you have never had them before. I wish they come to Vancouver!

Very good! I've never been to a Mr. Puffs before and we wanted to try something different and it didn't disappoint!

These were so good. They taste like funnel cake balls. We got 5 sweet cream puffs with dulce de leche ice cream. The topping hardens over the ice cream like ganache. The puffs are served warm so the ice cream melts like a dipping sauce which was yummy. You can get the puffs without the ice cream too.

After seeing a couple of videos on the internet raving about how good Mr. Puffs was, I knew I had to go to one during my trip up to Canada from the states. Let me tell you, they tasted way better than I expected and did not disappoint! We went here on New Year's Day and this place was packed. This location is somewhat small with a couple tables and the toilet was out of service when I went. Hours for this day were dependent on how busy they would get. The cashier was super friendly and helpful, speaking both fluent French and English. I ordered 12 choco hazelnut to go and ate them outside with my family. We all loved them so much we came back right after to get 30 more for the road! One day I'll come back and try their other flavors, but hopefully they'll open a location near NYC before then.

I was obsessed with Mr. Puffs while in Montreal. I was there for a week and visited 3 times... This is the only place I know of that serves loukmas with such a variety of toppings and quantities. They were also the best I've ever had, even though the ones you get in Vancouver aren't great to begin with. The loukmas are always perfectly fried to golden brown and topped generously with a wide variety of sauces and things. My favourite is the nutella followed closely by the classic honey and cinnamon. They also have a delicious creme l'anglaise that I, um, ate by the spoonful a lot of the time. To be honest the food I had in Montreal was ok by Vancouver standards (I am so sorry but if anyone wants to prove me wrong with suggestions, please please do) but Mr. Puffs was such a standout to me lol. If I'm ever back here, this is probably the first place I'm going to. Hope to see them in Vancouver maybe someday!

Mr.Puffs serves some truly delicious loukoumades. Warm, tasty, chocolaty, and perfectly bite sized. This location just opened and it's very nice. I had always gotten their desserts from food trucks so this was my first time in a brick and mortar store. It is very busy since it is located in the old port so it wasn't the cleanest. I got the 6 puffs and drink combo. My drink was a swirl milkshake (never seen that before but loved it! My favourites are chocolate hazelnut, double chocolate, and biscotti hazelnut chocolate. yummmmm.

Went here on a whim while exploring old town. I have 0 regrets as every bite was incredible. Highly recommend getting the biscotti and wonderbutter. The wonder butter is less sweet than the biscotti but just as tasty. They need a Mr. Puffs in the United States!

This is a fun place to pick up a treat. I recommend! I especially liked the chocolate sauce and wish they sold jars of it.

These puffs are so crunchy, not too sweet and satisfying. I had them when I was visiting Montreal. It was so good that I went back the next day. The first time I ordered Choco berry and the next time I ordered choco loco. Both the flavors were amazing. I will definitely have them again the next time I am in Montreal.

Honestly what's not to like? My recommendations, sugar + cinnamon, strawberry and Nutella. You won't regret it. It's addictive.

We need a place like this in the US (at least I've never seen one). We ordered it with the chocolate drizzle. Keep a bunch of napkins handy.

I liked that they had different items out on display that looked fresh. The menu was in French, but one of the women working there noticed we might need help and asked us what we were looking for. So friendly! She also helped us figure out what was gluten-free / gluten-friendly. We ordered a gluten-free avocado toast with an egg sunny side up (pretty solid) a ham and cheese croissant (they pressed it so it was dense and it was perfect) , and we had originally brought our own coffee in to-go cups, but they transferred it into mugs for us when we stayed. I was worried about an extra charge for doing that, but there was none, which was a nice touch. A couple notes: - They take credit cards - Wi-Fi is available - One weird/practical thing: you can't use a laptop until 3 PM so I wouldn't really come here in the morning if I needed somewhere to work. - They seem to be known for their crêpes, although we didn't try one, so I might come back! The total came out to $19.83 CAD. The tables weren't very clean, but overall, a nice experience and glad that the ambience was quiet and welcoming for the morning.

They can be pretty busy so I suggest arriving early. You order your food at the front and pick up your drink on the side. If you're dining in and you've ordered food, they'll give you a number so you can grab a seat and they can bring your food to you. My cappuccino was good. :) We got the Suzy (Avocado Toast with Bacon) and the Aurora (Smoked Salmon Bagel). Both things were delicious and can even be shared if you normally don't eat a big breakfast. The breakfasts we got were around $20 and $22 each. With our one drink and tip, it ended up being over $60 for breakfast at a little cafe, which is slightly more than what I'd normally pay - but perhaps Montreal prices are a little higher? Either way, it was still a nice visit.

The salmon bagel was particularly disappointing and almost inedible. We also tried the spinach and feta scone, but it was quite doughy yet dry, and we couldn't manage more than a few bites. The coffee was decent and the service was fine, but neither was enough to make up for the food. Maybe we simply caught them on an off day, but based on our experience, Tommy didn't quite live up to its reputation. It's a cute yet lively spot to check out for the atmosphere, but I'd go in with tempered expectations when it comes to the food.
