Called Allstate Roadside who called CRI then they said they would be at location in 30-45. Waited and never showed up. Called again after an hour said he was stuck in traffic and was 20 min away which there was no traffic in area i was at. I waited and after 30 more min I gave up. Called Allstate to cancel my request and then another 30 min later I get a call from tow truck driver saying he is on the way to get me and will be there in 20 min. Guy sounded drunk and stoned on phone. Told him I canceled said thanks and hung up phone. Worthless Tow company. Any review over 1 is made up to make them look good. Because true to their name, they really did rescue me…read more --- --- --- I was heading to the grocery store and noticed that my low tire pressure light came on as I was backing out of the driveway, but that always happens in the cold weather, and it just so happened to be after a major cold front came in and I hadn't driven the car in a couple of days. So I ignored it and kept driving. Big mistake. I got a few miles down the road and started to hear the lovely sound of a shredded tire flopping around in the wind. I pulled over, and sure enough, my tire was cooked. Next step: utilize roadside assistance through my insurance. They quoted me 75-105 minutes. So I sat and I waited. 99 minutes later, I get a call that the provider was trying to call me, couldn't find me, and moved onto another job. None of this was true, but the important thing was they told me it would be an additional 90-120 minutes. No thanks. I just started calling around to every roadside company I could find on Yelp. I kept getting voicemail after voicemail. Until finally, Green Roadside Rescue picked up. He said he could get to me in about 40 minutes. 40 minutes later, he was there. And I don't think it took him more than 5 minutes to swap out the tire. It was the happiest I've ever been to spend $75, and not just because my insurance company will have to reimburse it. I wish I would have just called here first and definitely will do that next time.
