Stay away. You have been warned!! Do not use at all. Allstate Roadside assistance contracted out my tow to CRI Towing. ETA was 30 min. Never showed up. I called CRI Tow and no answer. Called Allstate Roadside who called CRI then they said they would be at location in 30-45. Waited and never showed up. Called again after an hour said he was stuck in traffic and was 20 min away which there was no traffic in area i was at. I waited and after 30 more min I gave up. Called Allstate to cancel my request and then another 30 min later I get a call from tow truck driver saying he is on the way to get me and will be there in 20 min. Guy sounded drunk and stoned on phone. Told him I canceled said thanks and hung up phone. Worthless Tow company. Any review over 1 is made up to make them look good. Long story short, I had a situation with a Bmw i3 that would not go into neutral. I got CRI towing on the 3 or 4th towing attempt. Nick was able to tow the car without issue. I'm happy with the service and the attitude of making sure things go smooth before proceeding. CRI Towing was fabulous! Great communication with their staff -- they were able to track and let us know the location of their tow truck, while en route to us. Having your car towed for any reason is always stressful! Fernando promptly came to the rescue and was able to take my sad-broken-down car clear across to the other side of town, to my repair shop (I think a lot of towing companies would have an attitude about that but Fernando was great). Fernando was professional, very careful with my car, along with excellent communication and follow up. My friend and I were not able to make it to the shop in time before closing. But, Fernando was able to drop of my car and keys with the repair shop, just fine while my friend and I were still stuck and traffic. I was so relieved and grateful Fernando was able to take care of the drop off beautifully! We were in good hands and a load of stress was lifted because of Fernando/CRI Towing! RUN!! If this rating allowed me to give a negative star I would! Stay far away from this shop. My best friends car has been here since July 21st and they told her it would be ready in 4 weeks. When that 4 weeks was up they pushed it out another 2 weeks. Then another 2 weeks...still no car almost 5 months later. They cashed a check from her insurance company once she tried to get the car worked on elsewhere. Insurance is now involved and investigating which is pushing it even further out. Apparently this company is very quick to service their calls because they just about run innocent drivers off the road, risking the safety of the public. I was going already 58 mph in a 50 mph zone and the driver of a cri towing black ford dually was tailgating me I was surprised he didn't hit me. He then went into oncoming traffic to pass me risking their safety as well. After all that just to get to the red light ahead. Up further the driver pulled next to me giving me the finger with both hands so taking both hands off his steering wheel. I was told they would tow my car in 75 minutes. My friends and I waited from 7pm-10:45pm in the dark on side of I-45. I waited for CRI Towing Services only because my insurance was supposed to cover the towing fee. I eventually decided to call another towing service and pay out of pocket and he was there in less than 10 minutes. As he was loading my car onto the truck, the man from CRI Towing Services showed up and got out his truck laughing and didn't care that he had 3 females standing on the side of the freeway for 3 hours. His name was Dwayne and then walked off as he didn't care. This is the worse towing service ever and customer service is horrible! read more

CRI Towing Services came to our rescue literally when in the Spring, TX area. Lester was VERY professional and kept in touch with us with updates on his arrival which was very precise. My husband and I had issues with our Porsche 911 and had to pull off of I45 in not the best area of town. CRI Towing arrived with a state of the art nice flat bed truck with back seat bench that was spacious. The driver quickly ushered me into the heat of the truck (it was a very cold night) and did not hesitate to help my husband push the car into position for loading, took a lot of photos, took great care to ensure the safety of the car and even stopped on our way home to pick up extra off loading boards at his yard, upon arrival at our home all the way in Katy he even helped my husband push it into our garage when he could have just left it on the street. What was an unnerving night ended up with the most professional and appreciative towing service we could ever imagine. His company has had some bad reviews from unrealistic customers (one that he has a lawsuit against for inaccurate review that is damaging) and I brought that up before we even confirmed the tow which he addressed with honesty and candor. OnStar and Cadillac Road Side assistance assigned CRI towing to pick my vehicle up. I had to wait 2 hours for a tow truck to come get my vehicle. My vehicle was suppose to go to the Cadillac dealership at the next morning at 9am. It's currently 4pm the following day and my vehicle still hasn't been delivered to the dealership. Mike has horrible customer service and is insensitive to his customer's needs. Not to mention he told me his other customers wouldn't wait because I needed my vehicle. Keep in mind Mike told me my car would be dropped off at 11:30am. OnStar and Cadillac Road side assistance should DROP THEIR CONTRACT with this towing company. read more

Their incompetent driver ruined my snug top and they refuse to replace it. Their driver loaded my truck backwards and the snug top flew off the truck landing on the ground, bending the frame that holds it, and the snug top slid across the top of my truck leaving scratches. I called them as soon as I saw it lift but their driver continued to drive, only slowing down. We watched in disbelief as our snug top tethered back and forth in the wind, finally snapping. Thank God no one was hurt. I should have called my insurance company right away instead of trusting them to fix it. Mike told me it would be taken care of ASAP. He even told me he called our snug top dealer but no one recalled hearing from them. I was harassed by their driver. He said he was fired due to the incident and his last check was held to cover my replacement. He tried to make me pay for half of the snug top. I can't believe my flat tire turned into an even bigger nightmare. Do not use this company because they are not accountable for their own drivers actions. I am going to be filing a report with the BBB. This is not fair. I trusted this towing professional and I got burnt. read more

Avoid these guys! This was the worst experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop in my 55 years of driving. They fixed something on my 2006 Lexus that wasn't broken and completely ignored the loud noise every time the brakes were applied, which was the VERY REASON I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THEIR SHOP!! Mike, who seldom returns phone calls, laughed at me and told me to play my radio loud if the noise bothered me. I am challenging the $700 bill with VISA. I had been having trouble getting a motorcycle tow through roadside assistance. After a couple of different companies over 2 weeks (work schedule and shop hours), CRI was able to tow my car with no issues and responded in about an hour. The driver, Mervin ( bad with names) absolutely knew what he was doing in rigging bikes. My bike had a flat rear tire and dead battery, but we got it on the flatbed with NO issues. When I first spoke to the reception at CRI I was told they would be at the house to tow my car to the mechanic in 75 minutes. 90 minutes later I had not heard anything so I called them back. I was told it would be another 75 minutes from them. I told them that was absolutely unacceptable, so then they said it would be 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I still had not received a call and no one had picked up my car. I called back, again, and was told that the driver was on the other side of town so they would find someone else. They said the new guy would be at my house in 30 minutes. Come to find out, the driver got another call that was closer than my address, so he went to get them instead and they actually canceled my call. Never once did they call me and let me know that there was a delay, or that they weren't even coming. read more

I have a C5 Corvette and the shifter cable came loose from the shifter leaving it in Park. Rear wheels were locked and car could not be moved. I called my roadside assistance club and they contacted CRI Towing Services to help me. "Fernando" was dispatched to my location. When he arrived, I could immediately tell that he knew what he was doing. He safely hooked up to the rear of my car and towed it without incident to my mechanic's garage. He even assisted in placing the car on the rack. Fernando was professional, courteous and knowledgeable during my entire contact with him. I can't say enough good things about CRI in general and Fernando in particular. If possible, I will always ask that they be sent when I need roadside assistance. Especially, if you have a sports car (Vette, Porsche, etc.) you shouldn't call anyone else in the greater Houston area. Thank you guys! read more

If I could give negative stars to this company I would! This is the most unprofessional towing service in America! Don't ever use them to do any services for you. My car was sitting to be picked up today since 1:30 pm. I got an unprofessional call from a tow car driver to say that he would be picking up my car at 2:50pm. That's over an hour wait! I pass by my car at 3:40pm and it never was picked up. I called the driver back and he told me that his dispatcher rerouted him to another customer sitting in oncoming traffic. This was almost 4pm when I got that message but it was when I called the tow car driver. Then I call my service provider and tell them what was told to me. She puts me on hold calls the the dispatcher who tells her that what she said was not the truth. After getting all this information from my service provider she decides to cancel the order and schedule for my car to be picked up. It's now almost 5pm and my mechanic closes at 6pm. I then cont the original dispatcher of the company that was to pick up my car and was totally shocked that the manager himself was also unprofessional. Very sad that you can't get the service you pay for! I'm totally not ever wanting this towing company to even get me a glass of water!!!! Don't patronize them!!!!
