I had a great experience using White Glove. I found myself moving rather quickly with a last minute offer coming through on my house. Everyone I dealt with from start to finish was great. I got a virtual quote and then scheduled them about a week or so later to start my move. Going in, I expected to pay a bit more than other companies but I had several delicate pieces I wanted to make sure were cared for so I gave them a shot. I think the price that was quoted was fair and when it came time to settle it was even a little less so that was great. Brent and I can't say enough good things about White Glove in Vero Beach! We had a nightmare of a situation when my storage facility in Massachusetts notified us that our furniture in storage had to be removed in four weeks due to the owner selling the facility. I did a quick search for a moving/storage facility in Vero Beach on the Vero Beach Community page. An overwhelming amount of responses said to call White Glove. So ... we did! Upon entering the office, two wonderful ladies greeted us and asked how they could be of help. We explained our situation, they listened and basically said "no problem" we can help you. A few minutes later, we met with Bruce Gold. Bruce was amazing from the onset!!! He coordinated everything and to make a long story short, our furniture was picked up from Massachusetts and delivered and stored at the White Glove facility. He was in constant contact with us, confirmed the pick up date, confirmed the date the furniture was safely in storage, thoroughly went over the "inventory" ... he is one of the most efficient individuals we have come across ... and ... all with a smile ... and assurance that all will be okay! Horrible,, horrible and with an attitude too! I have moved more than most people usually do. I can say without any shadow of a doubt most moving companies are not very good. White Glove (what a joke) was the worst mover of all time. If you are searching for a company that does not show up when they say, brings less movers than promised, damages your furniture, and does it all with an attitude then look no further. Hire these guys. When they arrived, I very politely asked the driver to use extra care with some of the items, he snapped at me that he was a professional and I could remind him all I wanted to, if it made me feel better. I then watched as they dragged furniture across the floor, doing same outside on driveway. The used no care whatsoever. Furniture damaged and hardwood floors damaged. Once they arrived at my new location I asked if they could find a box for me. Two hours later I went into truck to look for myself. Driver screams at me to get out of his truck. I understand why he wanted me out but he could have asked nicely. Instead he yells and puts on a show for all to see....but he was all smiles when he was looking for his tip. Later I see the driver in an animated conversation with a new neighbor. I do not go over to the "conversation." I ask the driver what that was all about, and he tells he did not like the guy so he was giving him a hard time. Turns out it was the HOA President, and the driver was violating some rule or another and my driver could have cared less and told him so. When they move furniture out, they perform an inventory. On the inventory sheet of paper, they put codes next to the items. Pay attention to those codes! Every single item they moved was tagged as seriously scraped, scratched, dented etc. Nothing was damaged! The codes were not decipherable without a magnifying glass and hour or two to decipher. Nothing was damaged leaving our house but they sure as heck fixed that because most were damaged when it arrived at new house. Of course, they did damage to almost all items, with the pushing, scrapping versus just picking it up. Several times I had to help pick things up because they would not. They sure did a CYA by claiming everything was already destroyed before they touched it. We had one item that was smallish in size but weighed 80+ pounds. The placed the box in the middle of the entrance and I asked if they could move it. The mover looks at me and tells me it is heavy and just looks at me. I tell him it must move, and he moves it, but he was not happy. Are you kidding me? I could go on and on. I just want to give people fair warning that I was treated very poorly. My property damaged and it was all done with attitude that was anything but professional. read more

Find another company. During our recent move, multiple pieces of furniture had both major and minor damage. One mover dropped a piece of furniture on it side and broke it. Damage was also done to doorways in our new home. We filed a claim for repairs, and the minor repairs were repaired promptly. And then crickets. We have exhaustively called and emailed the director of operations for over one month now. This person replied once stating that they were really busy. Whenever we call the company we are told the same thing: they are all really busy. Our broken furniture has not been repaired. The lack of communication and disregard is truly disturbing. So, if apathetic and rushed movers are your thing, then this is your company. If you would like your furniture moved safely, find another company. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Expect them to over charge, under deliver, break furniture, "lose" components, and steal valuables. Used them once before with mostly decent results. Made the mistake of using them again last week and they've done nothing short of amazed me with their audacity and ineptitude. They quite literally ripped two drawer support tracks out of an antique desk. They did fine getting three other drawers out, but they figured "meh, not my desk, not my problem." To the point they did everything they could to hide the damage. Despite their numerous failures, they brought out a cheap bottle of Chardonnay and a white glove branded corkscrew when it came time to panhandle for a tip. Want to move? Don't call White Glove! Your household move would be better entrusted to a crackhead you found on Craigslist. Chances are they might be the same ones White Glove subcontractors out to. White Glove Destroyed 80% of $25,000 worth of furniture we stored over a 7 year period. I have been wanting to write this review for over a year now and I am finally getting to it. They moved our furniture and goods from Vero Beach to Miami and it was a mess. For example a glass table worth $7,000 was destroyed, couches, coffee tables, etc, as well. I recently discovered a $1,200 guitar was missing. One of 5. I did receive money back but it didn't cover the damage. Most pieces are not replaceable we are finding. Who wants insurance money which only covered about 60% of the cost anyway. Its still depresses me and my wife! They charged us $900 a month to store our stuff. They made a ton of money over 7 years and still managed to destroy our beloved property. I would think twice before using them! read more

No stars but Yelp made me give one They were sorely understaffed. The packing team on the first day skipped out at noon having not finished packing. The moving team came the next morning with 5 men. Needed 8 men. If they did not have enough men then they should have made it a 3 day move. Started at 8am and around 5:30pm they still had 2 large moving trucks to unload. I spoke with the coordinator and the owner. They both said the team had to finish and could not come back the next day. Finished around 8pm leaving boxes everywhere as they needed to get home. Left me with an absolute mess. I know moving is hell and have moved over 30 times to 3 different countries and this move was unbelievable. Did not expect to be treated this way. So unlike me to be this upset. Guaranteed not to use them when I move again. They got their money I guess that's all that matters to them. read more

There was some good but mostly bad. We moved about 20 miles north. They showed up about 30 minutes late which I didn't really care about. They seemed like they worked very hard and tried to do it in a timely manner. We had a 3 bedroom house and had some really nice furniture. I supervised the loading of the truck, and it looked like they were doing awesome and I was very happy. I stayed behind while they went to the new location so I could clean up. and boy was I wrong to stay behind. After they finished and the next day when I had started to move my furniture in place is when the horror hit. My beautiful desk leg was all but smashed from either being dragged or dropped from the truck. three of the legs are ok but the 4th was ruined. Really was sad as I loved that desk. then we went to move the couch, and the couch probably cost us 3,500 - 4,000. Again, the back leg was smashed and wobbled--- it literally looked like they dragged the couch. It was a camel back couch and you can tell where it was dragged across the ground on the top too!!. Almost all the wood on the top was damaged. I then saw the hole in the wall from where they bumped another piece of furniture. Then we opened the boxes.... most arrived safe but it seemed the important ones were broken. I ended up just throwing the furniture out except for the desk which I will have repaired. I don't think they were bad guys. I just think they have to realize these are people possessions that mean a lot to them. They need to think or pretend that these things they are moving needs to be taken care of just as if it were their own. I don't expect anything out of this. Just a reminder to people to watch close and stay close while they move your stuff. p.s - the price was right --- but it did end up by coming at a cost. read more

Signed contract for one amount. Then that changed. Then when the packers got there, we had to pay more. Caught the packers going through my jewelry box. Didn't deliver on day that I was promised. Then was charged another $3800 to receive my things. My experience with this business was terrible! I met their marketing person, Anna, at a networking breakfast. I contacted them to give me an estimate for a move. After telling the office the date, I was given an appointment for an estimator to come out. He arrived the next day, gave me an acceptable price, booked the move - and then at the end of the day called and said they weren't going to honor his commitment and that they were too busy for my move period. I am going to tell you about my experience: My mom hired White Glove for a move that was less than a hundred yards. The move was from upstairs to downstairs. The move was in the same condominium complex. This was not a big move. However, White glove thought that it was a two thousand dollar move ($2000.00). To begin with the sales person "Buddy"was happy to take our money but did not provide most services that he promised. He made out that White Glove Moving and Storage was the best and most equipped moving service in town.He said we would have to do nothing but relax. I should have been scared off when the movers showed up in a large moving truck. There was no need for a truck as everything we had had to be carried from upstairs to the condo downstairs. Guess what, we got billed for the truck. The movers whined and asked about when we were going to buy them lunch and when I did, they ate and left with the job not finished. I called Buddy and he said I have no idea what is going on I am not there. My family completed the move. I have had a bad back since. I don't like to review a company. A couple of months ago, moving into my new home with my husband and kids, three of the movers were acting gittery and rushing out of my bedroom holding a square shaped item underneath a moving cloth they brought into my house. When I spoke to the mover holding the item, he almost dropped it, quickly jumped to grab it and looked nervous. A few hours after they left, I realized my painting was missing. I had moved the painting myself and placed it up against my bedroom wall hours prior, it wasn't on their list to move. We notified the owner, I filed a police report, the police generously sent an investigator to their facility but nothing came of it. We hired WG to move and store our furniture, clothing and miscellaneous items. We paid WG in Houston, Texas about $14,000 over a period of 10 months. Half of the furniture was damaged or destroyed. Our new washing machine that about a month old was destroyed. Our clothes, bed sheets and towels got wet and are all molded and rotten. A Valuable chest drawers was destroyed. All our beds are missing or damaged beyond use. Other peoples items were delivered to our house. We sent some back and some are still at our house. items of ours lost are as follows: sleep comfort bed frame, coffee maker, camera equipment, mattresses, box springs, and items of clothing. There is not enough space her to write all the damage done to our possession. We would not recommend WG in Houston, Texas. Any other moving company can do better. I had Beacon move us before and they did an excellent job. Beacon damaged a document safe, which as paid for. At this writing no one from WG is working with us to resolve these issues. There is a $10,000 limited liability insurance on our items per incidence. We has to purchase a new washing machine, bedframe and started have our clothes cleaned our of our pocket. Complete scam! Conviently changed my poundage charge from .43 per pound to .60 per pound 3 DAYS BEFORE MY MOVE!!!! They then changed my pick up date 3 times and when I was told I would be working with two uniformed professionals in a "White Glove" truck I got some guy and his 16 year old son. The guy showed up 8 hours late in a Penske moving van with the name of some other company written on cardboard taped to the door. THEY SUB CONTRACTED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION!! I shit you not! This really happened. I have pictures. If that's not enough to look elsewhere, I was promised 3-10 days delivery, then 10-14 days. Pffff.... they blew through both of those timeframes and when I called customer service I was told "they didn't quite know where my stuff was". THEY STILL DON'T KNOW!!! This has been a nightmare! We spent thousands of dollars storing our furniture and artwork while our home was being remodeled. They smashed a piece of artwork that was previously well packaged. Obviously they either dropped it from a high place or ran over it. Our furniture was scratched and dirty. They offered to pay for the ceramic art piece by the pound ! Something like 10 cents per pound. They also delivered some items to our house that belonged to someone else . When we spoke with them they basically didn't care thought they did say our items were improperly packaged for storing...sorry about that !
