Love this place! I came here last year just because I wanted the light bulb bottle! There was no line during a weekday afternoon, perhaps just 2 people there. Parking was in the tiny strip mall and this tea shop is so way into the back that was a bit hard to spot. It's a small tea shop and inside is cute. The logo on the wall says fresh milk and organic ingredients with high quality tea leaves. I was only focused on the drinks to get the cute plastic light bulb because it's so cute. Truthfully is I don't really love boba drinks, it's just the container I find only in Las Vegas they provide is so cute. I haven't found any in SF Bay Area Except for one in Santa Clara where you get opportunity to purchase a unique glass jar with an image on it which is really cool and makes another collector edition like these other boba places are doing. Very smart boba shop to create loyal customers! My boba drink taro tastes great and I just love Ube and taro. All in all great little shop and I didn't mind the wait for it.
Got here during opening morning wanted a galaxy tea. The guy said it wasn't ready so that's something so I got a watermelon cantaloupe with rainbow jelly, and a large. It's really large. It was very refreshing hot day first time trying it.. my go to here is always. The largest size galaxy easy on the ice with any topping usually I do rainbow jelly or some type of popping Boba. The ambience is cute Asian inspired Boba store with music playing in the background with swinging chairs that make you feel like you're outdoor but you're indoors. Cool spot for a quick stop for Boba.
We have been coming here for years and the drinks are consistently amazing. The quality of tea really shines through. I frequent boba shops in LA and have tried a few in Vegas and none compare. The tea is consistently brewed to perfection. It is not bitter, bland or overly flavored. If you get a regular green tea there is a perfect balance of jasmine flavor. There is no hint of bitterness, ever. I have never gone to a boba shop and have gotten consistently perfectly brewed tea! This is a rare treat which always makes the drinks here extra special. My favorite drink is the mango matcha. The mango is freshly made and you can tell the difference. It's hard enough to find mango and matcha but here it's done right. All of the flavors are perfectly balanced. The matcha is never bitter or has any balls of unblended powder. There's a perfect amount of milk so the drinks aren't too milky. The new set of people who are here are very friendly. The place is always clean and you get the drinks fast. Favorite boba shop. I love coming here.
Upon arrival, this place is unassuming. I was greeted once I got to the register. The cashier pointed out some options and made a recommendation to include passion fruit jelly with my pineapple green tea, which was excellent. The boba was also a good texture. But perhaps my favorite part of this place, which will be a significant reason for return is the value for your money. Their large size is significantly larger than most other places. You can also customize your sweetness level. They have some seating including rocking chairs and table seating. They also introduced crepe cake if you are looking for something sweet.
My best friend brought me here to cure my boba craving. I went in hoping to get some cheese foam, but the topping is exclusive to only about 4-5 flavors. I opted for a Large Honeydew Milktea with boba. The miljtea was yummy. They have sweetness options- 75% is too little for the honeydew flavor, but perfect for the taro flavor. The portions are the best part of this spot. A large is MASSIVE- think the size of movie theater drinks. The boba wasn't warm and was a little more tough to chew, perhaps overcooked? The inside was clean and decently cute for the area. The kid who took our order was new, and through the confusion pretty nice. Emily (I believe), was especially helpful. I recommend to cure the craving, but not a top five for Vegas boba.
Very refreshing drinks and delicious crepe cake! We ordered the grapefruit tea and passion fruit tea and both were good. We ordered it 50% sweet but it was still pretty sweet. I enjoyed the fresh grapefruit pulp and I wished they had passion fruit seeds in the drink but it was still good. We also got the mango crepe cake and that was delicious. The crepe cake had many thin layers of crepe and the mango flavor was great. I enjoyed the consistency and taste of it.
The first time I came to Mr. Tea was on 12/30/21 as I was in the mood for Boba after a 10 hour drive to Las Vegas from Fresno, Ca. Following the GPS, it took us to this Ramen Place right next to Smiths which I knew was not right. We drove around the whole plaza twice and when I was about to give up on Finding Mr. Tea something told me to try kinda like the back of the plaza. Luckily I did was they were there!! I arrived at night about 2 hours before closing and there were a handful of people chilling waiting for their drinks. I was immediately greeted by the owner such a sweet lady. I scanned the menu and instantly wanted the Matcha Rose Latte with Almond Milk as I am almost dairy free these days and happy they offer a healthier low calorie alternative. I ordered my drink and just waited listening to the music they played. The large party left after they all got their drinks so it was just me. My drink with boba Came out next which was quick. "Nothing Beats the First Sip" - Princess of Yelp as the first sip was like a dancing unicorn on my tongue! It was perfect! The sweet level was fine (on my second visit here I ended up with 75% sweetness) which I did reduce on my second visit. But it was good just as too! Matcha was flavorful and the Rose was delicious. I prefer more Matcha than Rose than the other way around but the Rose is good by itself as I am an avid tea drinker. The boba was nice and chewy and complimented my drink really well! As I mentioned before I came in again two days later like why not! It appears they are open 365 days a week as they even had a sign stating they were open for Christmas wow! The inside is absolutely beautiful nice trendy decor. Staff was friendly on my second day and I have no complaints. They also have a rewards card too! If I am in the area I would definitely love to continue to support this local business as the teas are delicious!
"Cute-Tea" (cutie) Spot Did you see what I did there? LoL nvm. Anyway, we have a lot of boba cafes in California especially in the Bay Area and Mr Tea is just okay in my book. The flavor selection is minimal. We ordered two smoothies... Chocolate with boba for me and my hubby originally wanted the Avocado Vanilla. He asked if they could substitute the vanilla for almond milk. He was disappointed that they couldn't do it so he chose the Coconut smoothie instead. Service was friendly but slow, it took awhile to make. It could've been the owner that was running the store at the time, she was the only one working and there were four people ahead of us. The boba in my chocolate smoothie was not consistent... most were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of chewiness, yes, but some were crusty and hard. Boba's are the highlight of my bubble tea or smoothie drinks but, unfortunately, I couldn't finish my chocolate smoothie. Maybe I'll try their crepe cakes instead next time. Finding the store was tricky. It is located at the end of the side of a strip mall, the not-so-busy side of Tropicana Marketplace. A few days later, I'm STILLLLL thinking about my matcha coffee latte. The way Mr Tea made this drink, you can tell this isn't your typical corporate coffee/tea place. Supposedly, its homemade organic ingredients with high quality tea leaves. And it shows. With all drinks, you can customize your sweetness level. I choose 75% less sweet. My matcha coffee latte was prepared just right....perfect amount of authentic matcha and caffeine taste. When you check in, you get your choice of one free topping. My friend ordered the strawberry matcha with lychee bites added. That was just as delicious as the matcha coffee latte and the lychee bites was the perfect touch to complete the drink. We also ordered the matcha waffle with red bean filling. It's big enough for two-three people to share. Pretty good light afternoon snack. Their shop is on the smaller side...with about 4-6 tables with seatings for anywhere between 2-5 people. I wouldn't recommending coming here with large study groups. Mr Tea has split cups so I was excited because I can never decide on one flavor. Good thing i checked the reviews and remembered to tell them lightly sweet because it was still very sweet. They also have light bulb cups so if you're all about the 'gram life, it does make an excellent picture. The thing that I can recommend to get here is the taro milk tea. There are actual taro bits in the drink and it was very fresh and delicious tasting. Albeit still a little sweet. The boba itself was very soft and only slightly chewy. I don't recommend the cream top latte tea drinks. I was expecting the cream top to be on top but it was pretty much thoroughly mixed. They definitely needed more than just one person working on a hot Saturday afternoon as it took a very long time for us to get our drink. read more
Great small hidden gem. They have been super nice since the first time I visited. Know their teas very well and very accommodating to small changes in your orders like sugar level and the type of milk. I love coming here! Just try not to come on a day you're rushing because it's not Starbucks and it might take a while to make the fresh delicious teas and smoothies. read more

This place is tucked away in a sleepy plaza but don't sleep on it. We have been going here if we are in the area. Love the cheese foam toppings with my milk tea and I can adjust the sweetness level, and can't forget about the cute bulb bottle that it comes with. read more

Stopped into this little tea shop because the normal one I go to in this area was closed. The shop itself is small but nice. The customer service was great. We came in 10 min before closing and the lady was super nice. I was ordering 8 teas. They had a punch card which was almost immediately full due to my large order. The teas looked great. They actually have where you can choose your level of sweetness which is nice because I like a lighter sweetened Thai tea but my kids like it super sweet. They have split cups so you can order two different types of drink and all sorts of options. I would stop in again for a tea here if I'm in the area and I'd recommend it for anyone in the area. read more

It's our first time here. not only the drink aren't smothie like it said on the menu, they're bland I asked for 75% sugar and it taste like 10% . the drinks that says smoothie are SLUSHIE . staff are friendly and cafe is super cute not to mention the rocking chair very comfy. this is honest review, just to help some people out there also for the cafe to improve please don't get offended. read more

The girl that was serving us this morning was freaking rude to us. She's taking our order and so mean approaching us for our order like in loud voice and feels like rushing us for taking our orders. And it's so unprofessional. And not very friendly at all. She looks like she's always mad. We love this place however this staff is not friendly at all. read more

5 stars for the most amazing service ever! This quaint boba shop is owned (and appears designed) by a fobby Chinese couple, the menu and decorations are homemade and nothing compared to places like Brew Tea Bar. It definitely has it's own charm, and I appreciate how clean it was, how there was no line and plentiful parking, and that they had some games. The drinks appear to be made with love - lots of homemade purees and teas that they take pride in brewing. I wasn't a fan of the matcha strawberry latte despite the homemade strawberry puree. The matcha was too bitter, the almond milk too sweet, and the strawberries were too chunky. The boba was decent and I much preferred their black milk tea with regular milk. read more

+121016+ how adorbs are these lightbulb drink cups from Mr. Tea on W Tropicana Ave?! They opened about 2 weeks ago & they make their stuff fresh! Yes, you heard me no powder stuff!!! Plus, the owner (something Coco - a Chinese lady) is super sweet & so is the little girl that you'll see at the place. My friend and I were offered a taste of the taro tea (yummy! made from real taro). She even told me to bring my sons over so she could let them try the chocolate boba & she was impressed by the little Chinese I knew lol. Oh, & if you bring back the lightbulb cup, you get a $1 off every time! It eventually pays itself! ($7) Now, that's awesome customer service to me. That was my IG post about the place when it first opened, and I've been here a few times again since then and the customer service never fails to please me. Thank you! Last visit, I was told about the VIP card that gets you a 10% discount. I think it costs about $2 to get it but if you come here often it's a good investment. She also gave me some popcorn for free which came in a cute little bag. This visit, I told her I wanted to try something new and they have the passion fruit so I got it in a smoothie and it was yum! My hubzie loved it too & he's usually not into smoothies & milk teas. read more
The thing that drew me to Mr Tea was the split cups. I was excited because this meant we could try more than one flavor, but everything I tasted was way too sweet. The strawberry matcha latte was like drinking out of a jar of preserves. The white peach black tea had a pretty strong syrup-y taste. The almond milk tea was a change from regular milk tea and wasn't too bad. Lastly, the coffee milk tea was pretty diluted with a weak coffee taste. If I were to try this place again, I'd definitely get less sugar. The aesthetics were nice and the service was helpful, but the drinks just didn't live up to the hype. read more

Mood- tea Upon entering was greeted with great customer service. Was given menus and explanation of certain drinks. They have substitutions such as almond, coconut, and soy, in addition you can have the sweetness adjusted as well. You order at the front counter, find seating, wait for your order to be called. I opted for the Taro with Lychee, banana strawberry smoothie with boba, and 1 cup sunshine all in their souvenir light bulb containers. Nothing disappointed at all. Taro of course my fav even had chunks of Taro in it. Interior is a few tables, and counter style seating. There were a couple of games. We chose Jenga. Everything was very clean. This has been my favorite milk tea place before I left Vegas, and after 3 years, she still makes my drinks perfect! First time trying the tiger milk tea and I was worried it would be super sweet but she made it perfect just for my taste. Also, I'm very picky about my bobas, Never disappoints :) read more

I arrived here at 6:06pm and I didn't leave until 6:40pm. When I came there were only 2 other customers who had already been served and had received their drinks. After I had placed my order a couple came in and a family of four. I ordered a large oolong milk tea and I understand that this drink may take a little bit of time to make compared to the other drinks. 15 mins had already gone by and i went up to the counter to see if my drink was ready yet but it wasn't and someone else's drink was ready. I continued to check up on the drink every 5 mins after that. I didn't receive my drink until 6:36pm because they made everyone else's drink before mine. When I finally got my drink the staff said to me "sorry about the wait but the drink you ordered takes longer to make". I'm not a rude person so I just said that it was okay. I thanked her for the drink, smiled at her and left. I'm not sure if this place is understaffed but it shouldn't take 30+ mins to make a drink. I'm giving them 2 stars because the staff was very friendly and the place was neat and clean. read more

I loveeee boba! Came here mainly because of the lightbulbs that they serve their boba in and walked out very satisfied. Very cute place and very good boba. I got honeydew milk tea (with almond substitute). I like how they don't charge extra to substitute the milk and you also get an extra topping for free if you check in on yelp! If you bring in the light bulb on your next visit, you also get it for the price of just a regular tea which I think is a two dollar saving? read more

UPDATE: We came here again and I was able to get more strawberries- they were really nice about it. And there was music playing. So I have upgraded to five stars. I was drawn to this tea place through its yelp reviews because I saw an item I haven't found in SoCal- Strawberry Matcha latte in the style of the one offered by Boba Guys up in San Francisco. It's layered look is made for Instagram photos. You can order your drinks to put into one of the cutesy light bulb containers- they have a bunch pre-made and you get to choose the one you want. I liked that they use real matcha in the powder form, organic milks, and real strawberries instead of a syrup. The owner came out to us to show us he uses real strawberries- I thought that was a nice gesture for him to be proud of what he is serving to his customers. My drink was good but I definitely think it needed more of strawberries- you can see in my pics the green tea was layered way more than the strawberry layer- so that is why I docked one star. Interior is very clean. I had fun sitting on the rocking chairs. I do think some music would be nice- it was so quiet inside. They have complimentary popcorn made in their in house popcorn popper. Service was nice. We'll make another trek out here the next time we are in town. read more
This has to be cleanest and most organized place in Vegas. Love how nice and clean the inside was and how they use mostly organic tea. They brought out quite a bit of containers of tea for us to smell. All so fragrant and nice. We got a few of our favorites to see how they compare to other tea shops in Vegas. This was our 2nd favorite place. Can't wait to come back and try their more unique tasting flavors. read more
Stopped by after work since I've been craving boba for a few days now and it's been a while since I had been here so I decided to give it a try. The highlight I guess is how ginormous the large size is. I was a bit disappointed by the actual smoothie though.. my usual drink of choice go to most places is the matcha green tea smoothie with the cheese foam, with boba of course. I was kind of shocked by the total coming up to $9! The sample size didn't have the curved lid for the foam so I figured it was slightly smaller but it was huge, the biggest disappointment for the price of the drink was the flavor, it tastes so powdery like almost chalky as if it was not blended entirely or something, not a fan. Also the smoothie to cheese foam ratio was so little it hardly needed the curved lid to be honest, another disappointment considering how much they charge for it. It's novelty is really just the light bulb cup but aside that it's not as satisfying as other boba shops, its average. Had I known how much it would've come out to I would've gone to Tea Maison. Cause regardless of how big the large size is, if the flavor isn't as good then what's the point. It's likely I won't be back here tho they do provide a stamp card. It's just not my favorite, the decor inside is also pretty basic tho the neon sign is cute it's not a place I'd hang out at really either. Parking is easy to find and the shop was empty when I arrived so it seems pretty quick to get serviced. The menu lacks design, it has a random hello kitty and the prices are kinda hard to locate , when I asked the employee how much the lightbulb cup was she said "it's on the menu" ok but if I'm asking she should've known the price to tell me, since I clearly couldn't find it... aside the use of Papyrus don't which is a huge designer don't lol. I don't know maybe I came on an off day but yeah I'll probably just go to my usual boba shops. read more
If you're central west of the Strip, then a simple yelp search for boba will yield plenty of results. I mean, hellooo Chinatown -- where half of them will righteously be. It's a pretty saturated boba scene in Vegas and it takes a certain "je nais sais quoi" to really stand out from the tea spots that seemingly sprout faster than you can say "punchcard, please." With that said, Mr. Tea does try... Many people are probably lured in by their novelty lightbulb cups or split cups, both of which are about $6 extra on top of your drink price. (**EDIT: Oops! Apparently, the $6 includes BOTH drink and cup! This is more reasonable then!**) Foodie instagrammers or wannabes alike will rejoice in the visual candy for sure, but after the first time, I can see how the allure can get lost. Especially with no return incentives for the bulb. The two employees working were friendly, welcomed us, and told us to ask questions if needed. The vibe was minimal, clean, and kind of garden-inspired. Located outside of Chinatown, this means you can bypass the parking woes. So those are the positives. The COFFEE MATCHA LATTE was my choice while my cousin opted for the STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE. We were asked if we wanted to change the sweetness level. We both said no. Even at full sweetness, my coffee matcha latte was on the bitter side. Although I love both green tea and coffee, having them together in one cup was not what I expected. It looked lovely layered, but taste-wise, not so good. Maybe I'll try something different next time. Don't forget to grab a punchcard. The cashier didn't offer us one, but we got our stamps in after letting her know. Also, 10% with Yelp check-in. Small victories. read more

Nice Tea House Cafe. Atmosphere was very nice, with nice music playing. The cafe setting looks like a little country side coffee shop. They even have a cute swinging bench you can sit on. It's overall a relaxing place. They have a simple menu which I prefer, the most popular tea, milk tea drinks, with a few additional flavors and blends, including a coffee blend. Toppings include the most popular boba, crystal boba, jellies, and pudding. You can adjust the sweetness of your drink, from none to super sweet. THEY DO THE TRADITIONAL HAND SHAKEN drinks, the teas and milk teas are not premade and scooped out from the large container. I love that! Drinks come in a few sizes that I see. Regular, Large, Light Bulb, and a Split Cup where you can have 2 different drinks. We had a classic milk tea with honey boba, 75% sweet, boba was soft and chewy, sweetness didn't take over the tea flavor. Coffee milk tea, 75% sweet. Coffee and tea combo was a match, I could taste both coffee and tea, at a equal level. Taro milk tea with Crystal Boba. The drink had real taro bits inside, so definitely not the powder. The crystal boba is a tiny clear jelly, a hint to sweetness to it. We will be coming back to try other flavors. read more
The menu isn't big here, but they use quality ingredients and nothing artificial. The lightbulb containers are also cute/unique, and you get to choose your face and keep it! The split cup is also unique and allows you to order two beverages in one cup. The interior is basic, but clean. Service is always very friendly, and they offer samples on occasion. Prices are fair. read more

Not gonna lie, but the main reason I went here was because I wanted one of the light bulbs with the awesome smilies lol. Apparently they are also known for their 2 drinks in 1 cup where you can pick two flavors (perfect for those of us who are indecisive!). If that description was kinda confusing, just imagine those yan-yan snack containers where one drink goes in one half of the container and there is another drink on the other side (they aren't mixed together). I ordered the mango green tea with boba which was decent. I was able to taste the mango which is a good thing, but the drink itself was really sweet, like artificially sweet. I usually get my drinks at 100% sugar so maybe I'll tone it down the next time I am here. I ended up adding some water to my drink when I got home and it ended up tasting better. The boba itself was okay since it was warm and chewy, but it didn't really have a flavor. The workers are really nice and attentive. The establishment is clean and has a nice outdoorsy theme with their moving benches and stuff lol. The next time I come here I will probably for the 2 drinks in 1 cup since I already have my light bulb :D. P.S. I was able to try a sample of their strawberry smoothie which was pretty good. Although it seemed to be more of a slushy since it is water based and icy. This was better than my mango green tea drink lol. read more

I know I've said this before, but now it really looks like the local bubble tea scene has matured. Mr. Tea is one of the newest bubble tea shops in Las Vegas. Oddly enough, it's located neither on Spring Mountain nor in the Southwest, both of which are hotspots for similar businesses. Instead, its home is at a corner of a strip mall on Jones and Tropicana. I couldn't come up with too many nearby restaurants to make a good two-fer trip (although Vila Algarve is in the same strip mall), but I actually found myself in close enough proximity today after AYCE sushi. Luckily, I wasn't even nauseatingly full yet! Although their prices are higher than pretty much everywhere else (not that much higher, mind you), Mr. Tea's selling point is that they're worth it because they use premium tea leaves and syrups prepared from fresh fruits. Plus, they appear to be a family business. I'll certainly have to come back to try some of those fruit-flavored drinks, but I decided to stick with a couple standards today. Classic Milk Tea ($4.69 for 24 oz) w/ boba ($0.50): whether I was oblivious before or paid attention yet detected nothing, this is the first local rendition of this archetypal drink that has made my taste buds scream "oh hey, that's actual tea!" It was not overly sweet even at normal sugar level, and although it wasn't quite addicting, I'd say that the drink itself has to be one of the best in town. It wasn't perfect though. The issues were two-fold. First, the full level of ice is pretty nuts (maybe 1/5 or even 1/4 of the cup). I didn't know it could be adjusted safely so I didn't specify up-front, and I'm definitely going to get less ice on all future orders. Second, the boba in the drink was a little too hard. I know it's a tricky thing to get boba to the right chewiness, but I've enjoyed too many ideally textured pearls even locally to give them a pass on this. On the plus side, the pearls were definitely honey-soaked, and at least they weren't too soft - that's the more common flaw, and it's more of a sin. Jasmine Tea Foam ($4.89 for 24 oz): got this at full sweetness and adjusted to 50% ice (or even less, apparently). Very strong tea flavor that draws perhaps slightly more from green tea than from the jasmine scent, but it might still be the best non-premium sweetened jasmine tea in town. The foam is very water-soluble and doesn't separate out, but be aware that it's not a sea salt foam. I could've probably used more foam, actually. Of my two drinks today, I preferred this one, perhaps because I didn't have to deal with the boba. Mr. Tea wasn't perfect, but they're still easily one of the best bubble tea purveyors currently in Las Vegas, light bulb gimmick or not. I doubt I'll ever buy one of those containers, but I'll certainly have to try their fruit-flavored drinks in the future, most notably the lychee tea. I know I've also said this about other places, but this is the real alternative to driving all the way from Spring Mountain to the Southwest. Who doesn't love fresh tea?! Honestly I love how they offer daily fresh fruits in their teas and smoothies. The place is very cute and small and there is even free wifi in case you want to study. The workers are very friendly and attentive. I was studying for an anatomy class and he noticed that I was trying to explain a concept to my friend. He said sorry for the blending noise which wasn't even his fault! So kudos for being such a caring worker. I highly recommend the jasmine milk tea. The sweetness and flavor was absolutely on point. Dainty little boba spot located just slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Spring Mountain road aka Chinatown. Had to come down here after seeing their cute light bulb cups on IG. Their most popular drink is the strawberry matcha latte, and it was really good. I got it at half sweetness, and the strawberry syrup/jelly gelled well with the matcha milk tea. The boba was also really fresh and chewy. $6 for the light bulb cup and $6 for a double cup. I'm not sure if they hired more workers or not, but there was only one lady that was working. She was really friendly, but it took almost 30 minutes to get my drink (there were 4 drink orders ahead of me). Hopefully, this issue will get resolved. I love this place, the taro milk tea is my favorite and I get it about once a month, sometimes more. I like that I can get only 25% sweetness because I can't have much sugar, and the brown sugar boba tastes lovely here. They always have at least one dairy-free plant milk in stock, which is nice because I can't have cow milk. Pre-COVID they used to have several different options so you could choose between soy, coconut or almond, but now they usually only have almond. That's all right for me though, the taro is so yummy :) read more
