This place has the best boba I've ever tasted. Full stop. The chew of the boba is bouncy and perfect, they very rarely stick together, and it is never mushy. It is genuinely always perfect. It's tucked into the right side corner of the Greenland Market food court. So you get food court ambience. My husband & I love it because we will go here to grab drinks & then grab food from one of the neighboring food places. It's a great setup. I wish it wasn't so far away from me because I would be here all the time. My favorite drink is the toasted brown sugar milk tea, but I have enjoyed all of the drinks I've tried. They have really good coffee & I love their ice cream and the taiyaki. You order from a little kiosk now, which is a bummer. But it is fast. I'll start this by saying a lot of people who are not in the Gen-Z age bracket will complain about Gen-Z people not being friendly, overly sensitive and apathetic. The young women who helped me with my order were the opposite of this: Friendly, nice smiles and happy to answer my questions. This makes all the difference! Now I will get to the order. I love taiyaki pastries, but my favorite taiyaki I had last year while visiting a friend in Yokohama, Japan. We were at the main station and had had lunch there. We were walking around when my friend wanted to stop at this very tiny shop where you could order and go. The shop was all about taiyaki. It was September and chestnuts are fully in season then. I ordered a chestnut taiyaki and was I ever shocked with how great it was. Piping hot, good sized with exquisite chestnut cream with some cooked chestnut pieces inside. It was heavenly. The taiyaki at Bbear is the only taiyaki I've had since I've been back that is close to how magnificent the Japanese chestnut one was. I ordered the red bean taiyaki. It did take a while, but once I had it, I understood why. It's a very good sized for the price and the taste, well, it was up there with the Japanese chestnut cream taiyaki I had last year. This will be my go to place from now on when I'm craving a red bean taiyaki!! It kicks 86* red bean pastries to the curb! I also had had the taro ube milk. I had it blended, it was almost like a milkshake. It was nice, not too sweet. Next time I will try the matcha. I love that they use lactose free milk. I like their other options, but it's great to know that have milk with some protein in it. I also want to try the hot tofu place nearby and I will visit Bbear for dessert! read more

Always obsessed with this place my husband always tries new stuff while I always get the same one. They do take a while if you get a few as they only have one person but it's worth the wait! One of my favorite is the TBS toasted brown sugar milk with boba! The boba here is really good. Menu offers a great selection of milk tea, leaf tea, coffee, fruit and flower tea, taiyaki, boongeo pan (vegan and gluten-free). There's two kiosks to place an order with option to select drinks and add toppings, it's relatively simple. They use lactose-free milk by default. You can substitute with soy, almond, coconut, and oat milk for free! I opted for Iced Caffè Latte (20 oz) with no added sweetener, single shot decaf (16 oz), whole milk, oreo crumbs (+$0.75), and shot of taro ube (+$1). On first sip, it was still sweet and I couldn't taste the taro ube. It's so nice of Trustin to offer and remake the drink. I asked if it's okay to make the drink hot. He made it as Hot Taro Ube Milk (12 oz) with no added sweetener, whole milk, and a shot of espresso. It's so delicious and not too sweet! Service from Trustin is outstanding and remarkable! $4 Sweet Taro Uber Paste Boongeo-pang is must!! Lots of vegan options!! Including lots of Boongeo-pang/Bungeo-ppang (Korean style dessert fish-shaped pastry)!! Located inside the Greenland Market's Food Court (exterior door is not the entrance). Great because we also got a cash $8.99 Vegas Sushi roll to-go from Sakura Sushi within the court. Fresh hot is tasty with little toasty, with a very light crispy around it. But of course, as it cools down all the way down (minutes later), you'll have to rely on the inner to be tasty. Their Boongeo-pang's batter seem to a mochi batter so it's chewy inside with whatever filling. So really, you can just get non filling cause it'll be like mochi lined. Order with the machine. If you sign up for rewards, you'll get a text on when it's done too. Allergies: Many items are vegan and gluten-free but be careful. Equipment is shared with dairy products. $4 Sweet Taro Uber Paste (also vegan/gluten-free) is a must! Soft sweetness reminds of like the Taiyaki (Japanese version). $3 TBS Infused Boba (brown sugar type, also vegan/gluten-free). Tasty. It's a no for us. Because it's mochi like batter, the boba is just like an additional mochi so you'll just get a taste of light brown sugar with it. $3 Red Bean (also vegan/gluten-free) was okay. I'm use to the Korean style where there is a bit of salt/savory taste in the fish like it is in this one. The red bean seems like good quality/whole pieces and home made vs pre-mixed, overly processed commercial types. Overall red bean taiyaki is the SO's favorite. The food court is spacious, sharing the area with other restaurants. We had the Oreo Milk Shake, M3 TBS Milk Tea, and a Caffe Latte. Everything was delicious! Cannot really comment on the service since you order at the kiosk, which was the only issue. We wanted the Oreo Milk Shake w/ Boba, but at the self-serve kiosk, the menu looks completely different. Prices are reasonable. Right next to area where you pick up your drink when its ready, they have a cozy and private seating area for their customer. The chair and tables are sturdy, yet would benefit from more detail cleaning to make the space SHINE. Don't worry about parking, since their is ample parking space outside.
