For Starters, After my windshield tint job was complete, inspected vehicle and checked for errors, noticed big gash on my front driver side fender, showed it to the employee who was working on my tint, He then called the owner, after about 30 seconds of explaining what happened, the owner began to yell at me over the phone, curse repeatedly after complaining about the work, he then called me several hurtful names and called me a "scammer" he continued his rant with me for over 15 minutes, he told me to leave and never come back. he also said he would come down to the tint shop and fight me as he lived up the street. the employee locked my car in the shop so I could not leave and I was forced to pay full price. He took no responsibility for the error as his employees admitted fault and I also have photos of sharp items inside the employees waist storage that would have caused the damage, the tape measure pictured in one of the attached images was inside the apron too. This could have EASILY been avoided by wearing the proper clothing for the job. I have photos of my car pre damage going into the tint shop. Also the tint install itself isn't great either, the tint is scratched on the inside really bad from the squeegee, also their are bubbles. overall very very disappointed in this business. also the shop is very dirty, there is no adequate sanitary seating or bathroom, NOBODY deserves to be treated the way the owner treated a paying repeat customer like myself, And nobody should be threatened by the owner of a business they are shopping at with bodily harm. After using another company for my past two vehicles I decided to try out Mr. Tint due to the reviews on google that I read and because his price was $30 cheaper than the previous company I used. I was told my new truck would take 1.5 hours to tint 4 windows and the rear glass, however, the job took just over three hours while I waited on it. I stayed with my truck the entire job and watched as Mr Tint employees crawled all over my one day old king ranch truck and seats with dirty work boots. They sprayed excessive amounts of water that pooled on the dash and electronics when applying the tint. I understand that water is needed when applying the tint but when you're spraying water through my truck to spray another employee that is considered unnecessary water. I have since found multiple places on my interior that were scratched due to poor handling of knives and tools, I have a few air bubbles in my tint now after two weeks of drying and have the lifetime warranty tint but will take my truck elsewhere and pay to have it repaired. Many of Mr Tint reviews bragged on professionalism and attention to detail. However those are the two things I believe they lacked the most.
