I went to get a new bar of soap and to browse the store. I found they had a very wide selection of vitamins, supplements, and herbal remedies. Not too many soaps to choose from however. There are a couple of gas station fridges where they keep a few things, ginger beer, a few organics, typical health store fare. I quickly started to peruse through their selection of essential oils, which wasn't extensive either. I had opened a vial of pine oil, not noticing it wasn't a tester bottle, which nearly every health store should be carrying alongside the new bottles. The woman pointed out a small sign under the cabinet that patrons were to buy any oils they opened. I smiled at first thinking shed let me off the hook, but I didn't get that impression from her. I told her she should seriously consider buying the tester bottles, she agreed. I was a lil irritated at this point for being stuck with purchasing an item I wasn't even there for, and wasn't enthusiastic about spending more of my money there. The blaring religious music, some Gregorian nightmare, didn't help. Thankfully, I started chatting with another clerk, a younger woman who was lovely and helpful. I had decided on a bar of tea tree oil soap, which lathered wonderfully, and smelled great. Prices were typical of similar places.
