I was disappointed with the service I received from Concept-1 last month. I had to tow my Westfalia…read moreto them because of transmission problems. The assessment I got the next day was that the transmission had to be rebuilt or replaced. They didn't say directly but skirted around the fact that they didn't want to do the job and they didn't have any referrals of someone who would do the job. They essentially said that I should pull my vehicle from their shop, have it towed back to my house and start looking for a new mechanic. I found one who came to my house, took one quick look and said "There's no transmission fluid in here!" We went and got some tranny fluid, put it in, and the vehicle was operational again. It still needed work on the transmission but at least the most basic and fundamental step was taken to address the problem - put fluid in. I don't know why Concept-1 would not have done that nor how they could have made a proper assessment of the transmission problem without fluid in it! I won't be trusting them with my vehicle again.
