Diagnosed a couple of issues with my S60 T6. Repairs we quoted and parts ordered so re-booked when parts arrived. Job was completed quicker than quoted so my bill was significantly less than what I was expecting! I'm afraid of giving too good of a review because I don't want everyone rushing there and then I can't get my little car in! Regardless, they are all so friendly and honest. They take good care of you and your car. In a word: slimy! My experience at Mr Volvo was horrible. The office manager, Jeff, talks way too much about matters that are irrelevant. He told my son that he needed to spend another $4300 at his shop before he would even take him seriously, he told me he was checking my ring finger to see if he should as me out on a date, and contradicted two shop mechanics who were advising work that needed to be done on the vehicle. I cannot believe the owner of this company would continue to keep this person as the first experience a customer would have coming into this business. Absolutely the very worst experience we have had at an auto mechanic. We will not be back! read more

Brought my Volvo v70 in for repairs. Only after I brought the car in for an out of province safety inspection did I discover that the brake job I had paid for was never done. They refunded my credit card no problem however I wouldn't have known for some time if I had not required the safety check. Very upsetting that the car could go through the garage and not have the repair done. Stay away from this very unprofessional outfit. read more

Had an electrical issue with my XC90, took it to Volvo dealers in Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon - none of them could figure out the problem. A co-worker suggested we call Mr. Volvo, and to make a long story short, they diagnosed, and fixed the electrical problem for a very reasonable price. Mr. Volvo now has me as a loyal customer for life! read more

I started dealing with Mr.Volvo because I didn't want to take my Volvo to the dealership for service and get gouged. Over the years they provided me with excellent affordable service. It usually never takes too long to get your car in for service and I know the repairs can be relied on. One time the struts I had replaced failed over a year after the install date and Mr. Volvo replaced them free of charge no questions asked. It's too bad that most places today don't have standards as high as Mr. Volvo's. The only negative thing about them is that they're closed on weekends and that they don't have a location here in Edmonton. read more

It's a shame that I'll never take my Volvo back and that I'd rather travel across town to get serviced at Valentine. These guys botched my Volvo and I had to (pay) to have them re-do the job. The techs are terribly arrogant, and don't stop talking long enough to get proper back-story, or enough info to do a job properly. I decided after they left my lug nuts loose and let me drive off that I'm better to simply never go back. They made no effort to apologize, and instead we went through the familiar excuse-regime. They even blamed me for it. Amazing. It's more than just bad luck. Shame on them for burning me once, but shame on me for going back and letting them burn me twice. At least now I know that I have to go to the dealer to get service in this town. Valentine is no more expensive, and they talk to people without the douchy disdain Mr. Volvo struts around with. Save yourself the headache, and find another shop. Any other shop! Euroteck, even. Sadly, Mr. Volvo is a dud. read more
