Mike (the self-described "wood guy") spent the better part of day one replacing boards and explaining the damage he was fixing. After several excuses beyond weather conditions of further delays in schedule, I basically have just been dropped by them for the season. I have been given several excuses excluding weather including equipment failure and concrete plant closure. See the following email: I hope you've been doing well. I wanted to reach out personally to give you an update and be upfront about where things stand. This year has been an extremely difficult one for us when it comes to finding dependable help. We've been advertising and interviewing all season long, but like many small businesses right now, we just haven't been able to find or keep enough qualified workers to maintain the schedule we had hoped for. Because of that, we've had to make some hard decisions about which projects we can realistically complete before the end of the season. Unfortunately, we won't be able to get to your job, and I truly hate having to say that.
