Instead of finishing the job, Quincey Barrett ripped out the old doors, left the home in shambles, and vanished with the money. The house is now in a far worse state than when it started--it is unsecured, unfinished, and $25,000 has been stolen. This is not a "bad contractor" experience; this is professional fraud and property abandonment. URGENT CALL TO ACTION: If you have also been a victim of Quincey Barrett, do not wait. Go to your local police station and file a report for construction fraud and theft by deception. We are working with the authorities to ensure there is a paper trail for this criminal behavior. You should also report them to the State Licensing Board immediately. Save your family the trauma and the money--stay as far away from Quincey Barrett as possible.

NOTE: ALL OF THE FOLLOWING IS DOCUMENTED through text…read moremessages, phone calls, photographs, home inspections, signed contracts, and additional records. Recent reviews accurately reflect the fraudulent conduct of CPR. The company, owned and operated by Quincy Barrett (CEO) and Brandy Barrett (CFO), misrepresents services and caused us and other clients to lose thousands of dollars. CPR engages in repeated deception, creating a pattern of inconsistent and false statements. Communication is routinely delayed or nonexistent. Quincy Barrett goes silent for days and weeks at a time when updates are requested regarding the contracted project. Signed contracts are breached, and "lifetime warranties" become void when Quincy Barrett fails to meet contractual obligations. Quincy leaves before projects are completed or even begun. The project that was said would take two weeks to be completed did not even begin until 5 months later. The funniest yet is that the project remains unfinished one year and one day after the contract was signed on 12/12/24. CPR provides proof of current insurance coverage and then knowingly cancels the policy prior to the start of the project. When asked about insurance coverage for multiple property damages and a homeowner's bodily injury caused by materials left in the yard, CPR provided evasive responses and no resolution. The homeowner is instructed to cover the damages out of pocket with the promise of reimbursement, RIGHT... Documented damages include the central AC unit, windows and screens, security cameras, all landscape lighting, and most of the landscaping. Quincy Barrett pressures homeowners to authorize loan disbursements using false statements. When contacted by the loan company, he falsely stated that only one piece of siding remained to be installed for completion. CPR abandons a gutter, roofing, and siding project in an unfinished and unsafe condition, compromising the integrity of the home. The most documented deficiencies include gutters installed incorrectly, large sections of siding not installed, siding was installed on half of the porch ceiling instead of soffit, missing water barriers on exposed areas, no insulation in open sections of the home, an unfinished roof, multiple electrical outlets left exposed to the elements, and open gaps in the siding that have allowed vermin enter a previously sealed home now. Due to Quincy Barrett's failure to properly oversee the project in his role as project manager, custom window framing was not installed and may not have even been ordered. Security camera footage showed Quincy Barrett personally managing approximately one hour of the exterior project, which consisted primarily of walking the property and unloading supplies. A refund for the nonexistent custom window framing was eventually issued. However, CPR initially failed to provide the refund due to insufficient funds from the company account. Quincy Barrett claims the account was impacted by fraud. The refund was ultimately issued only after a cashier's check was demanded. Following the submission of the first review, and only review until today, 12/13/25, a 2:00 AM text message was received containing a screenshot of the review and a threatening message. The nature of the threat, whether physical or legal, is unclear. A request for clarification received no response. Responses provided by CPR now will consistently satisfy their claims, regardless of factual documentation. The conduct of Quincy and Brandy Barrett demonstrates a pattern of misrepresentation, nonperformance, and intimidation.

Is it unreasonable to expect new windows to be cleaned and fingerprint free?…read more After a couple of other quotes we selected Windows Plus. The windows from Windows Plus gave us more window than the competitors. We did not have to order all new blinds where we would have needed to with the other local options. Unfortunately my husband and I had to leave out of the state for a family emergency. We were available for the first day installation but could not be here for the entire installation. No, my husband nor I could not have waited to leave. My brother in-law was available for the rest of the installation. Personally I prefer to have all work inspected prior to final Payout but could not leave that responsibility to another person. We arrived back home a week after the windows were installed. Once I started inspecting the windows I immediately messaged the company. After several emails and pictures sent showing some of the problems an appointment was made for two representatives to come out and inspect. Let's just say every window had some problem (gaps in the frames, a spot visible to the eye in between the glass panel, missing screen, poor screening, missing screen nut, frames cut too short, damaged decorative wood window trim ....) in addition to each window would need to be cleaned. The window installers were very nice and courteous when we were here the first day. They were very mindful of our cat who often likes to "escape" to be chased around the yard. One of our half moon shaped windows were being changed into a rectangle casing window. It turned out beautiful with the exception of the vinyl framing on the outside where there was a gap. Extremely long strand shortened - most issues primarily the blatant ones have been resolved. We still need to clean all our new windows.

Since we didn't hear any more from Jim, on October 2 I sent a follow-up message to him via email - no response. On October 7 I sent another follow-up message to Jim via text message - no response. I suspect that he didn't like the fact that we weren't thrilled with their choice of installers. I would not recommend this company. If Windows Plus decided they didn't want our business, they should have let us know.
