great selection for all your pet and animal needs, friendly knowledgeable staff. i would highly recommend them

Came in yesterday just after open to get some crickets. Were told they had just arrived and would be available later and to come back. Came back 3 hours later and were told they were still in the back and not for sale yet. I asked for them to get me some anyways as this was my second trip back and was refused. I am extremely saddened by this lack of customer service. After the manager has expressed concerns about complaints about their crickets you would think there would be some effort to get them out of boxes and to customers. I will not be returning as this place clearly does not value it's customers or products. read more

I will not be shopping here anymore. I stopped in to buy food and was obviously rushing and knew exactly what I was getting, there was no one there, and my husband dropped me off out front and was waiting in the car. As soon as I got in, the lady asked if I was just getting dropped off, I said yes, and she said it's a fire lane and can't be parked there, I said ok and went to grab what I needed, then the male employee asked me to tell my husband to move the car. I didn't have my phone so I immediately turned around and just left. While they may not be wrong about not parking in a fire zone, the car was technically not In the blocked off zone , and my husband was waiting in the car and incase the fire department showed up within the 30 seconds I was in the store, he could have easily moved. Was it really worth it to lose a customer over making a point like that? It's not like I left the car unattended and was just browsing in the store. What makes me so angry is the attitude I felt from both of them, especially the male who piped up after the lady already told me. I have bought food here many times and neither of them are ever overly pleasant. So unfortunately for you, I will be parking correctly at Bosley's from now on. (I've never written a review for anywhere before, so just goes to show how stupid I think this is.) read more

Absolute garbage. Was running a few minutes behind closing ( 2 minutes to be exact). Called ahead just to confirm that they could wait for me as they are the only ones in Mission that have my type of dog food. Was told by the guy who picked up the phone that It wasn't possible because they would "go into overtime". Thanks a lot guys, i called in to a store in Abbotsford and explained the situation, they'll stay open an extra 15 minutes while I drive there. read more

I really prefer shopping in my own community as much as I possibly can. Since bringing home my rescued pup Sophie, Mr.Pets has been a lifesaver of information, genuine service, and fair prices. Recently, after discovering the amount of animal testing done on many food brands in all pet stores, and grocery chains and the harmful laboratory testing of dogs and cats.. I came into Mr. Pets once again for their sound knowledge and advice. After speaking with someone who works there (may be an owner I'm not sure) I was recommended to try Orijin brand dog food. Naturally sourced, wild local fresh REAL ingrediants, made in Alberta BC really made me sold on this product. She was unable to speak to any testing of any sort so I googled when I got home today. Under the FAQ section in the Orijin website lo and behold No laboratory testing no HARM of animals. Just your basic palatability, urinalysis, stool samples etc. YAY! Thank you MR.Pets for always being a reliable place for me to shop, and for being so nice. I will continue purchasing my dog food/ treats/ toys for my beautiful labradoodle knowing she isn't consuming something that may have caused another animals pain, suffering or eventual demise, and that of course will keep her healthy and loving life as long as possible.
