I was told by the department of insurance that this was the only place I could get my…read morefingerprinting and background check. OK, no problem. I scheduled my fingerprinting online, but also spoke to a customer service representative. No problem. I arrive at my appointment time, and there were at least six other people there, all angry, because the identogo staff person had not arrived. They rent space from the autism organization and the receptionist from the austism organization was fielding questions and people. After we all went outside, she locked the doors and put a sign out letting everyone know that they weren't coming. No one from Identogo had contacted her to let her know that they wouldn't be there. As an added affront, she informed us that they are NEVER there on that day, that it was the third Wed or something like that. I contacted "Drew" at the call center to see when they would be there, and he assured me that he would call me back later that day (I had arrived at 9am) to let me know what to do. I never got the call. At 2:45pm the same day, I contacted the state licensing organization and spoke with a supervisor. She has tried to contact them three times with no luck. She told me to contact her again the next day, which I did. At 10:00 am she still hadn't heard from Identogo, which is interesting, since their contract is with the state insurance licensing, among other contracts they have with the state. I would think that her contact would have called her back right away. Anyway, I called Identogo back, and Stacey forwarded me to Jackie, after a hold period (to wait until she got off the phone) and was promptly deposited into her voicemail. I left her a voicemail, and then she called me back, inviting me to use my location for thier services! This company is a joke. Can I also let you know that I pre-paid, along with everyone else they stood up yesterday, over $50? I have no idea how they obtained the state contract, but I suspect that some funny business was involved. And I'm not laughing.

Today was especially smooth, I was in and out in under 5 minutes. I am tough to take fingerprints for, for some reason... I once spent 30+ minutes at a self service kiosk for a set of prints, but Tammy got them fast and easy. The person kept making excuses - saying she would come one day, then canceling and saying she'd come the next, but she never showed up. I called and messaged many times. Sometimes she replied with more promises, but eventually turned off her phone and stopped answering. I feel deceived. I never received the service I paid for. I do not recommend this business.
