I do not actively look for any roles and I have no intention of doing this full-time. However, this week I received a text from Standing Room Only to join a group audition call. I joined the zoom and it was for Judge Mathis and I was casted as the defendant. From the first call I feel like this is a legit company and I was immediately provided all of the information I needed leaving no room for questions. Rahul sent an email with all of the information I needed for the shoot. He called me to confirmed I received it. I was told the shoot was the next day, so I drove to Standing Room Only in Culver City. The morning of the shoot I sent the production assistants, Karen and Zack, a text to let them know I was on my way and they immediately responded. I feel like the team was very professional. As soon as I arrived on site the security guards greeted me and told me where to park. Once inside, the security guys at the table checked my bags and told me where to hang my clothes. Once it was time for check-in Venita greeted me with a smile and asked for my photo I.D and passport. Zack had a one on one with my partner and I and continued to check on us until we finally shot our episode. Joe was our producer and could not have been more professional! They had make up on site and lunch was provided for those who were there 5+ hrs. Standing Room Only is a very professional and organized production company. The people all love what they do, and their willingness to be nice and repeat things that I'm sure they say hundreds of times a day, shows me that they have their operations dialed in.
