To say I was nervous at starting at a new center is an understatement. I was hoping that we would switch once our son was a little bit more verbal. Now, after this past week, I can't imagine him being anywhere else. The communication is amazing! We get multiple pictures and updates every day. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included. There is also a really cool diaper and wipe service that is only $40 a month! The staff have been incredible especially his teacher Felicity. My son absolutely adores her and just wants to follow her around. I also love how much time they get to spend outside and doing active activities. My son is not someone that does well sitting around. Prior to CHBS, my child was in other typical American preschool/k, and no one knew if the kids had BM, or a nap, no daily report, nothing. CHBS gives you a daily report of your children's day- about the nap, bathroom use, noticeable events, growth, etc. I have many books of our daily correspondence between us and CHBS which will be a treasure for me for years to come. Once my kids started at CHBS, their Japanese language skill sky rocketed. My 4 year old went from somewhat understanding what I was saying to him in Japanese, to being able to speak to me in Japanese 100%. He also learned to read and write during his time there. I also have to say the quality of the teachers and program are top notch. You cannot find a better daycare than this one.
