Ivy - the church's Administrative Assistant is one of the nastiest women I've ever had to deal with. The day before the wedding, on rehearsal day, she would not allow the bride to practice the bridal party's entrance more than once. Isn't that the whole reason for rehearsal? In fact, when when I attempted to ask questions on behalf of the bridal party ( I was the wedding coordinator for the event), she pulled me to the side and said: " This is my show, I am running this event. I AM THE BOSS. This is MY show, do not interrupt me again" The rest of rehearsal was extremely frustrating as questions were not allowed. The following day, when the florist arrived to deliver the two columns that were supposed to be placed on the alter, Ivy stepped in and said: " We cannot place the columns on the alter because the Pastor's feet are too big and i don't want him to trip" Are you serious, Ivy? That was the most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard. Despite the groom, the florist and each member of the bridal party requesting we arrange the flowers in a particular spot, Ivy REFUSED. We even asked the Pastor, and he was okay with the placement, but Ivy stepped in and said NO. Instead of the flowers being placed where we requested, Ivy placed them where the bridal party was supposed to stand, leaving for very awkward photos. Ivy referenced the "Catholic Church" and their policies when defending her decisions, despite the Pastor agreeing to some of our requests (after he said yes to our requests, he quickly retracted them when Ivy was around as he didn't want to argue with her). The one reason why this review is getting 2 stars instead of one, was because of the Pastor. He was gracious, and the ceremony went well, despite the constant negativity/ arguing with Ivy. *********This review is solely for this church's wedding services, and has nothing to do with it's regular Sunday services.***********
