Prices are very reasonable and the grounds are kept very well They have multiple slopes from bunny to silver gold elite double black. There is no fancy lodge with fireplace to hangout, but they have a large facility that is basic with a cafeteria style window and pizza shop(sometimes closes) and a nice size bar with indoor and outdoor seating. They are not at the capacity to handle heavy days with lots of visitors in the food concessions areas. They have ample ski and snowboarding equipment and super helpful staff. The property is huge with a Nordic area, sno mobile routes and several ski lifts.

Visited for the first time on a lovely bluebird day. I like the vibe of this local, smallish resort (4 lifts). Views of the surrounding mountains were stunning! Single day lift tickets very reasonable compared to Tahoe resorts ($81 for a Saturday). Main downside for me was access to their new lift, Gray Butte. To get there, you either have to hike on a lengthy flat area (took me around 20-30 mins) or ski down an advanced area that was technically out of bounds. Very strange. Did they plan it like this? It is also the only 4-person lift, even though hardly anyone can get to it. I feel like they should make the skiable area in bounds or add in a t-bar or something. I visited with a couple beginner friends who had a great experience with their snowboard lessons. This is a great beginner resort-the beginner lift has a few different green runs and is pretty long.

I came here for the first time with family and I definitely recommend! The kiddos had a blast tubing; the pricing was reasonable at $25/adult and $15/child. Also, bring sunglasses.. we came on a sunny day and the snow was blindingly bright

    Gray Butte

Ski patrol and first aid was outstanding! Shay, Nick, & Nick W. got me down the mountain with such AMAZING Skill, I'm so grateful to these guys, and Angelina too, she brought my ski's back for me! BIG THANKS to all! Grey Butte 7536ft And thank you Randy for taking such good care of me when I got to you at First Aid!

Drove 6 hour from Eugene Sunday morning for them to be completely closed for a 25 mph winds. Went Monday good snow but only Douglas and marmot were open. was cool tell they opened 45 min late an some rude lift ops. Went Tuesday an they had no power said 3-6 hours for them to restore waited 4hrs for them to say they aren't opening wtf!?

Open layout and even better views!

Destination: the Black Diamond slopes of Mt Shasta Park. Winter season is approaching and this is an absolutely great ski park for beginners! Started off snowboarding here when I was first learning the ropes and enjoyed every minute of it as I got familiar with technique, slopes and trails. Mt Shasta has a variety of lifts, trails and difficulties! What makes this place great is the open atmosphere, scenic routes and opportunity to get a great session in, no matter your skill level! Usually crowds are decent during the ski season, never overpacked. Pricing for lifts and equipment is inexpensive! The ski park is very affordable and a great time to attend during the winter season without the bombardment of lines and crowds from some bigger name ski resorts.

The snow and facilities were good, but the wait to rent ski equipment was horrible!!! (We will go to Tahoe next time)

She wasn't pushy at all and didn't upsell me anything - just gave me all the tips and info. We decided on a tandem snowmobile for an hour with a guide. We arrived 20 minutes late but she was so professional - she shortened and made the check in process so easy. There was a cabin with fire where you can change since Deer Mountain was quite cold and was snowing that day desolate the snow drought. She was mega attentive and taught us everything and told us exactly where we were going. She took couple of pictures for us and explained what we'll see had it not been so foggy. On the way back when we stopped at a viewpoint my boyfriend accidentally accelerated and we toppled right where the cliff started - Michele rushed over and helped us up and we genuinely concerned for our well being. We're so grateful she was our guide and can't recommend her enough. She's an amazing person with a beautiful smile and we definitely suggest everyone go snowmobile with her, especially first timers!

I've crossed paths with many guide companies in my years behind the oars and it isn't always a pleasant experience. From the put in where the guides helped me move my 15' raft and gave me verbal beta on the notorious Dragons Tooth rapid to the actual rapid itself they were polite and helpful. We didn't see them for 2 days on the river until the scout for Dragons Tooth. Being just a single boat with two people I graciously accepted Aaron's offer to keep an eye on us through the scary rapid. Imagine my surprise as we emerged from the chaotic maelstrom to 6 guides working safety and 45 cheering clients. It was truly a surreal river experience. A big part of a great guide service is how they treat their customers and other boaters. If you want to be on the river with a self important grump, there are plenty of them out there. In the beginning of the trail, there is a General Store and restroom. The restroom is an actual restroom with toilet and sink. Not a portable potty! The trail to Burney Falls was easy. Different parts of the trail, there is a different view of the fall. The view from bottom of the fall was breathtaking. Be very careful if you want to get close to the fall. The rocks can be very slippery. We went off season so the crowds were not as bad as expected. If visiting Friday-Sunday or during the holidays, reservations are required. We did not sleep the night we got there as we were trying to scramble to find another place to stay at. We ended up staying in our vehicle and contacted the manager to report the infestation. The manager claimed that they've done their due diligence to keep their cabins sanitized, but if you refer to the photos and videos I posted that is a complete LIE! Instead of enjoying our vacation, we ended up having to go to a local laundry mat to clean our clothes. Not to mention upon coming home my nephew finds a bed bug on one of his bags. Can you imagine the hell we've been through? It's terrible! To top it off, my niece's friend gets rushed to the ER yesterday due to these bed bugs biting her all over her body. She was sent home with topical and oral medication. Refer to the photos! I'm severely disappointed with the lack of accountability of the manager and its property. My sister tried speaking to a staff member today to follow up and she hung up on my sister after claiming someone would call her today to get this settled. We are planning to file a complaint and a report to the local health department. We are concerned that other people may encounter the same problem. Please beware!

First, they wouldn't sell me a $5 parking pass unless I knew someone who rented a boat, so luckily the last name I used "Hanson" worked. They asked "Scott Hanson?" and I'm like, yeah, sure. Second, parking was full (as one might expect on the Saturday before Memorial Day at 4pm), so we had to park in an overflow lot. This meant getting an escort to the lot and a shuttle back to the harbor AND it meant having to estimate a specific time to come back, which is hard when you're depending on a bunch of party boat people for the ride back (I'm looking at you, Scott Hanson. Still, though I had to go through some hassles, the three guys who helped us, including Joe and Hamilton (who are just Frank and Reynolds shy a yacht rock band) were super friendly and helpful.
