It was a pleasure to have him work on my house (and that's not always the case). He doesn't waste time, gets the job done and he's clean - cleaned up every day after he finished. He told us that he charged a 10% fee to supervise his subs and that is fairly typical, but it turned out that he was the carpentry sub so we had to pay an extra 10% for him to supervise himself! I was so glad to see him gone! The quality of his work is good, and so we are fine with that, but we think of this as a really bad contractor experience and he had claimed he could ultimately be our "contractor for life" I just have to laugh. I would never hire him again. When a contractor can't tell a medium shake (for the roof) from a heavy shake, just by looking at it, you know you have the wrong guy. He has even sent me a personal email attack about this review - a confirmation that I am happy he is GONE.
