I got some runaround from the hospital about how the charges were coded, but eventually I thought I had things squared away, only to find out my assumption was incorrect. And the way I found that out was because of Brenda, who walked me through the byzantine nature of Medicare claims and hospital discharge procedures. She was pleasant and informative, and took the approach as a teacher, rather than talking down to me. Your team met her at her house and helped her safely navigate the stairs using a chair lift. She could not be happier with the kind, professional, and caring team that helped her. There were two gentlemen assisting her--one was named Cameron and one named William. Both were absolutely fantastic. They were at her home between approximately 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., and I mention that in hopes that both individuals receive the recognition they deserve for their outstanding care and professionalism. They made sure my mom felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. They were quick and efficient while also being incredibly careful, checking on her frequently and asking if she was okay each time the chair lift moved. Their compassion and attention to detail made a stressful day so much easier for her. She said if she could give 10 stars, she would! She also wanted to mention that she would absolutely recommend your company to anyone in need of transportation or mobility assistance. First off, I've used wheelchair transport companies in the past (America West, One Access, etc) and your mileage may vary depending on the driver or drive team. That said, today was a great experience as Carlos (no partner helping) was a pro - he was careful with safety measures while loading the patient into the van and he meticulously buckled everything to ensure that transport would be safe. Carlos was engaging - although we talked about many topics during the short 15 minute ride, he was attentive to the road and traffic all around him. Drop off was smooth and he said he would be back at 11:45a for the return ride. The doctor appt ended at 11:35a, and we made our way back to the pick up point...at exactly 11:45a, Carlos pulls up in his van -- punctual! Again, Carlos loaded up the patient in the wheelchair carefully and fastened all buckles and belt to ensure a safe ride. More great conversations back to the point of origin. Can't say enough about Carlos....perhaps if Wheelcare Express hired more drivers like Carlos, there would be more 5 star reviews.
