Of all the ones I spoke with, Geovanne from Boston Notary Service was the most knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. We quickly arranged a schedule time for us to meet the following week and he showed punctually. I wished I could have said the same for my witnesses, who never showed up. Geovanne was very understanding and waited like 20 minutes before we reschedule the whole thing while I searched for new witnesses. Second time was the charm and everyone arrived punctually and proceeded to complete the docs. Geovanne was very familiar with all the complexities of the documentation and guided me, and our witnesses, through the whole process. I can't recommend enough! Geovanne

Run, don't walk . . . away from this agency!…read more I hired them to do a background check on a person and explained that my attorney needed the information asap. On the original phone call, I was quoted $400 by the woman who answered the phone. Later, when I spoke with Jay Groob, the owner, he said for $2,500 he could do a "complete" check. My biggest concern was that this person was married and/or divorced in New York, and we needed that verification. I provided Jay with names, dates, addresses, etc. because I had already done some checking myself. I explained that I couldn't get any more information on the marital status in New York because I was told that information would only be given to the married parties. When I asked him about that, he said he had "other ways." Five weeks later, our attorney still had no report. I assumed it was because he was doing the "thorough" investigation he promised. We had to call to finally receive the report; and when it was received, it didn't contain the criminal portion. . . . thus, another phone call to them. They then sent the criminal portion and said it was a mistake that it wasn't done. Also, we discovered later that the person in question was very nervous about what the findings would reveal. Well, they didn't reveal much because I believe only perfunctory work was done. His "ways" were only a "way" to get $2,500 versus $400. Run . . . don't walk!
