They told me that that is for new tires. I had left my car there and went down the block while they put "new" tires on my car. I went back to get my car and pay for the tires, they said they had saved me some money by putting the alternative size on and saved me $20. I asked again if they were new and was told they were. So you can imagine the surprise I got when I went to get them balanced after having new rims put on and told that I had retreads on my car. I'm sorry, but, retreads are not new tires. I wonder how other many people they have scammed money from by putting retreads and saying they are new tires when they are not! I will never recommend anyone go there unless you do not mind being told that new tires are getting put on when retreads not new are getting put on. Now i can not even take my car to them because I am back in my home state. The company that told me I had retreads are a VERY reliable source and now will help me out to get an actual new set and sell the retreads as used. Very unhappy customer

THEY OVERCHARGE & then MAKE EXCUSES & LIE TO YOUR FACE while saying 2 different contradictory statements in one breath AFTER you have your car back & you find PROBLEMS w/ what was repaired! We went to their shop on 7/28/26. After waiting 4 weeks to get our engine replaced (8/25/26) they let us leave & didn't bleed the air out of our radiator (which almost caused us to overheat & break down), apparently ran a new line to our washer fluid bottle & now it doesn't work properly, & the car STILL had acceleration issues that we originally told them about ...& we found out why... WE HAD A BROKEN MOTOR MOUNT! It took them 4-5 days JUST TO LOOK AT OUR CAR after we dropped it off (8/3)! We were originally going to repair the engine when they found metal in it & a worn cam shaft (8/7). Our engine was on the floor of the shop (we have pics). We were told we needed another engine. We waited 15 days for the new engine to arrive (8/21). SO they already KNEW the motor mount was broken BEFORE we ordered the other engine when they took the old engine out! They never told us or repaired it! NOW they're making the excuse that we rushed them. REALLY??!! WE SAT IN A HOTEL FOR 4 WEEKS! They got the engine on Fri 8/21 & started working on it (they close sat & sun). I called Tues late morning (8/25) to get an update on the car. I let them know I needed to be kept updated because we had 1 more day left in the hotel. I told them if I needed to stay another day I needed to know today! By 4:00 pm on Tues I called back to get an update (they close at 4:30 & they never called me back). They told me the mechanic just came back from a test drive & everything was fine. They never disclosed any problems w/the car. They just took our $10,350 from us to replace the engine & rushed to go home! PLEASE don't go there. YOU ARE BEING WARNED! Stay far away from Grayson Automotive! They will steal your money, you'll still have problems with the car plus new problems & then they'll make the excuse that you were the problem rushing them about time & money. OF COURSE I'm going to call & want updates about my car when I've been sitting for 4 weeks spending $2500 on a hotel plus food & over $10,350 for an engine! We were there away from home & work for so long that we were running into a money situation & had to make a GoFundMe to ask for help, ask family, friends, even strangers to help us out just to stay in the hotel & eat all while we were trying to get the engine replaced! You can go to our FB pg on Supreme Shine Polishing & still see the GoFundMe for the issues that we were dealing with while trying to get this engine done. They KNEW about our money situation & THEY STILL DID THIS TO US! SHAME ON THEM! They took advantage of our situation! The right thing to do was to tell us if there were other problems w/the car in order to complete the job AND THEN FIX THEM! ESPECIALLY THE MOTOR MOUNT! It's standard to replace broken motor mounts when you replace an engine & they didn't do it. If it hadn't been for a flat tire I never would have known about the broken motor mount!! & now we're having to spend extra money to replace what's broken when they should have been the ones to fix it w/o the extra cost! BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF INTEGRITY IT ALMOST DESTROYED OUR NEW ENGINE!! I'm filing a complaint w/the BBB as well... & GOD will be our judge in this! (Oh & I forgot to mention we were there a week before w/the same exact complaints about the engine & instead they replaced a catalytic converter which WASN'T THE PROBLEM & we still had the same issues w/the engine. If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would…read more My experience at Quick Lane in Ashland, KY was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. I originally came in for a simple oil change and also mentioned a slow leak in my right rear tire. Instead of addressing the issue properly, the staff seemed far more focused on upselling me on services and things they claimed I "needed" than actually fixing the problem I came in for and sitting and dipping and spitting it into a Mountain Dew bottle while talking to me. They quickly told me the tire couldn't be repaired and that I had to buy a brand-new one from them that day -- no explanation, just pressure. It felt like they were more interested in making a sale than helping a customer. To make matters worse, after they were "done" looking at the tire, they didn't put the wheel lock key back in my glove box. Fast forward to today (August 2), when I had an issue with the same tire , and the lock key was nowhere to be found. Every single lock on my wheels had to be stripped just to get service done. it should not always be the customer's job to make sure that the person or persons that you were taking your vehicle to to perform repair repairs. Also, does their job. And here's the kicker: that rear tire Quick Lane said couldn't be repaired? It was repaired today by a different shop -- no problem at all. So not only was their diagnosis wrong, but their lack of care and knowledge cost me extra time, money, and hassle. I shouldn't have really been surprised in any manner due to the fact that it's owned by Bill Cole and they themselves are a terrible organization as well. If you don't believe me go read my review in regards to my sister's brand new car that she purchased that they can't get fixed and it only has 9000 miles on it Bottom line: don't waste your time at Quick Lane in Ashland. If you want honest, knowledgeable service, It might be a little bit of a drive but go to Tire Discounters in Winchester, KY. They truly care, they know what they're doing, and they'll treat you with the respect every customer deserves
