With the building of this new hotel, designed and constructed according to ecological principles, the Merano entrepreneur Ulrich Ladurner realised a dream. Even as a child this place had fascinated him. Here he felt an immediate and primal proximity to nature, combined with a fascinating inimitable worldview from such a high vantage point, which had already cast a spell over him when he was a child. Years later from this child's dream arose the very real idea to build a hotel for guests on that very spot, so as to share the unique energy emanating here.
